Research On Risk Management Of J Company’s Ship Design Change

Ship design is the front-end project of ship engineering,which is high technical and subject to various conditions.As the continuation of the ship design project,the ship design change has a great impact on the subsequent cost,schedule and quality of the ship to a certain extent.In recent years,design changes have occurred frequently due to the fact that the risk of ship design changes of J company has not been effectively controlled.Therefore,strengthening the risk management of design change to prevent major changes has become the requirement and trend of ship design department management.In this paper,the research on risk management of ship design change is carried out according to the idea of presenting the status quo,analyzing the problem and solving the problem.Based on the current situation of J company’s ship design change problem,risk identification,risk estimation and evaluation are carried out according to the risk management theory according to the ship design stage,and risk response measures are formulated based on the analysis results.First introduce the general situation of J company,the ship project management and ship design process and the status quo of ship design project management,and introduce the current situation of J company ship design change,and briefly summarize the impact of design change problem.Then based on the risk management theory,the paper analyzes the process and work content of each stage of ship design and combines the expert interview method to comprehensively identify the main risks of each stage,and evaluates and evaluates the risk factors of each stage by using expert scoring method.The ranking of risk factors and the definition of risk levels are realized at each stage.Based on the main change risk factors at each stage of ship design,the countermeasures are proposed,and the corresponding design change risk management system is proposed to ensure the implementation of design change risk management.Finally,an example implementation of ship design change risk management was carried out on the J company’s 300 K VLCC project,which verified the effectiveness of the ship design change risk management measures proposed in this paper.This paper hopes to achieve effective control of ship design change risk through the study of J company ship design change risk management case,thereby improving ship construction quality,reducing rework,reducing costs and improving company’s efficiency.
