Dunhuang murals have a history of more than 1000 years.In order to inherit the excellent traditional culture,we need to give new communication carriers to the ancient frescoes.Dunhuang culture is a kind of encyclopedic culture.The inclusiveness and openness of its history make Dunhuang culture broad and profound.As a famous Dunhuang mural,the study of Nine Color Deer Sutra is of great significance to the spread of Dunhuang culture and the development of Chinese traditional culture.This paper starts from the cultural connotation of Nine Color Deer Sutra,integrates the knowledge of Buddhism culture,Dunhuang culture,mural art and other fields,and deeply understands the content and communication concept of this work.Through the analysis of the composition,color,elements,performance techniques and other artistic aspects of Dunhuang mural "Nine Color Deer Sutra",this paper summarizes the artistic characteristics of the work,and compares it with the reliefs "Jataka of Deer King" of Balhut Pagoda in India and the mural "Jataka of Deer King" of Kizil Grottoes in Xinjiang,so as to summarize the research content of "The Nine-Colored Deer" schema art.The author tries to take "The Nine-Colored Deer" as the theme,break the traditional mode of thinking,look forward and divergent thinking to find a breakthrough,determine the audience,find the innovation points that meet the needs of social development,realize the organic combination of content and form,and construct the practical scheme of narrative literary creation.
