Research On Barrier-free Design Method Of Urban Public Space

With the rapid development of society,the construction of urban barrier-free environment has become one of the important evaluation standards of urban civilization.The barrier-free environment of urban public spaces is the main space carrier for people with disabilities,including people with disabilities,the elderly,children,pregnant women,and culturally impaired people,to participate in social life.Improving the barrier-free environment of urban public spaces is conducive to promoting the integration of people with disabilities into society and sharing the fruits of social development.With the introduction of the universal barrier-free design concept,the increasing severity of the aging process has put forward higher design requirements for the urban public space barrier-free environment.However,although the current urban public space construction is based on barrier-free design specifications,it is an integral part of the public space environment.The lack of continuity design and the lack of systematic planning and supervision in the construction process.Therefore,this article takes urban public space as the research object and aims to improve the quality of public space barrierfree environment,and explores the urban public space barrier-free design method system and necessary auxiliary support,which can provide reference for urban barrier-free environment construction and research.This article takes urban public space as the research object.First,through literature research,it analyzes the basic theory of barrier-free design and the behavior characteristics of the audience,and analyzes the content and design requirements of urban public space barrierfree system.Through the combination of field research and questionnaire survey,the current situation of barrier-free environment construction in Nanhu Subdistrict,Luohu District,Shenzhen is analyzed,and the current urban public space barrier-free construction has unclear planning system architecture,imperfect design strategy,standards and requirements.Problems such as misalignment and lack of new assistive technologies.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis of the status quo,based on the principles of systematization,versatility and synergy,try to integrate barrier-free design into city planning,and build a barrier-free planning system at the general level,control level,and urban design level.And put forward the system design points of the pedestrian system,the connection system,the square green space and the public facilities in the urban public space,and form a design method combining planning control means and design points.Finally,taking the optimization of the layout of barrier-free facilities and the design of typical space barrier-free in a commercial plot in Nanhu Subdistrict,Luohu District,Shenzhen as a case design demonstration.The purpose of this article is to improve the implementation of urban public space barrierfree construction.On the basis of field research and questionnaire survey,this paper proposes a barrier-free design method that combines barrier-free planning system and element design points in urban public space,and is supplemented by auxiliary measures.,With a view to providing a reference for the practice of urban public space barrier-free construction.This research relies on the topic of "Luohu District Barrier-Free Development Planning",and the results can be directly applied to the design and transformation of barrier-free public spaces in Luohu District,Shenzhen,providing planning control methods and design method ideas for future urban barrier-free rebuilding.
