An Applied Research On Accessible Design In Urban Parks

With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of people's living standards,people with disabilities are eager to go out of their homes and enter urban parks,embracing nature and life just like normal people.Therefore,barrier free design in the field of landscape architecture is bound to become one of the important issues of urban environment construction.This paper focuses on the application of accessibility design of urban parks,and explores the methods and contents of accessibility design of urban parks by means of literature analysis,case study and guiding practice.The full text is divided into five parts for research:The first part is the introduction,which explains the background,contents and methods of this study,and the research status at home and abroad.In the first chapter,the related concepts are defined,the body size,psychological characteristics and behavioral characteristics of the disabled are summarized,and the scope and content of accessibility design of urban parks are concluded.The second chapter,summarizes the domestic and foreign excellent barrier free park design cases,summarizes its design experience.In the third chapter,the accessibility design principle,design strategy and design key points of urban park are put forwardThe fourth chapter,combined with the design of yandongguan Park in Meicheng Town,applies the barrier free design strategy of urban park in this paper to the actual project.Finally,it summarizes the research content and innovation of this paper,and points out the shortcomings of this study,and prospects for the future.Based on the previous research and relevant design specifications,this paper makes an exploratory study on the application of accessibility design of urban parks,hoping to enrich the theory of accessibility design of urban parks in China and provide some references for the future accessibility design of urban parks in China.
