| As the backbone of the modern manufacturing industry,the equipment manufacturing industry is the most important instrument of the country.It is an important guarantee for technological innovation and a concentrated expression of the country’s core competitiveness.The current new generation of information and communication technology is deeply integrated with advanced manufacturing,triggering industrial reforms,forming new industrial forms and new economic growth.Major industrial countries in the world are intensifying scientific and technological innovation and promoting the integration and innovation of information technology and equipment manufacturing.With the release of "Made in China 2025",my country has fully implemented the strategy of advancing manufacturing power,and promoted technological innovation and industrial structure optimization and upgrading.The equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia has achieved rapid development,the overall industrial scale has continued to grow,and the technological level has gradually improved,but it still faces the small scale of high-tech equipment manufacturing industry,the lack of industrial coordination capabilities and insufficient human resources have become bottlenecks restricting the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in the autonomous region.Therefore,accelerating the optimization and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia has become an important issue that the autonomous region currently needs to solve.Based on the research background,this article elaborates the significance of the topic,further sorts out basic concepts such as industrial transformation and upgrading,equipment manufacturing,and relevant domestic and foreign documents,analyzes the development status and existing problems of the equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia,and builds a multi-level index system using Entropy Method to quantitatively measure the comprehensive level of transformation and upgrading of Inner Mongolia equipment manufacturing industry.Combining relevant domestic and foreign researches,it explores the driving factors for the transformation and upgrading of Inner Mongolia’s equipment manufacturing,and conducts theoretical analysis from the four dimensions of technological innovation,industrial foundation,industrial agglomeration,and industrial support,and uses SPSS software to conduct principal component regression empirical analysis.The research results show that: R&D expenditure intensity,number of effective patents,new product R&D expenditure,new product sales revenue,fixed asset investment,location entropy,foreign direct investment,government R&D expenditure,number of R&D personnel,number of Internet users,etc.The equipment manufacturing industry has a positive impact on the transformation and upgrading,and its impact coefficients are 0.0325,0.1181,0.0536,0.0606,0.0952,0.0420,0.0553,0.0940,0.0812,0.1193;only the total profit has a negative impact on the transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia.The influence coefficient is-0.0447.Based on the results of empirical research,the transformation and upgrading of Inner Mongolia’s equipment manufacturing industry requires a large amount of innovation investment,advanced technology,and high-level talents as support.Based on the actual situation of the equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia,this article proposes that our region should increase investment in research and development,improve independent innovation capabilities,strengthen industrial supporting capabilities,and introduce and train talents to adopt strong policy formulation measures to promote the optimization of the industrial structure of Inner Mongolia’s equipment manufacturing industry. |
