Research On The Path Of Improving The Innovation Ability Of Multinational Enterprises From The Perspective Of Innovation Ecosystem

The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward a series of expressions such as "we must adhere to science and technology as the primary productive force,talent as the primary resource,and innovation as the primary driving force" and "improve the scientific and technological innovation system".The realization of key technological innovation has therefore become the core strategy of China’s economic development.As the main body actively participating in innovation,multinational enterprises further strengthen their main position and take multiple measures to improve their independent innovation capabilities,which is a key strategy to promote China’s R&D and innovation.In recent years,the innovation ability of China’s multinational enterprises has been significantly improved.Whatever,compared with many developed countries,there is still a large gap.Therefore,in the face of increasingly powerful competitors in the world,China’s multinational enterprises need to continuously improve their technological innovation capabilities.In this context,based on the technological innovation capability and the independent innovation and innovation ecosystem theory of multinational enterprises,this paper discusses how to improve the technological innovation capability of multinational enterprises through the innovation ecosystem.By selecting BYD Co.,Ltd.as the research object,the innovation process is divided into three stages for sorting and analysis by using the research method of rooted theory,focusing on describing the innovation behavior,driving factors and innovation performance in the three stages,and constructing the structure of BYD’s international innovation ecosystem.Then,on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the cases,the driving factors affecting the improvement of innovation capability are discussed and the path selection of technological innovation capability improvement of multinational enterprises is proposed,and finally a universal technological innovation capability improvement path model based on innovation ecosystem is established,which provides reference for other multinational enterprises in developing countries to achieve technological catch-up,improve innovation ability and core competitiveness,and embark on the road of technological independent innovation.
