Research On Space Allocation Strategy Of Convenience Facilities In Urban Communities From The Perspective Of New Urbanism

The focus of urban construction in China has gradually shifted from social and economic development and the construction of physical space to the improvement of the living environment.The focus of urban planning has shifted from the development and control of urban land to the optimal allocation of space resources.Entering the period of stock planning,the spatial configuration of service facilities and residents’ lives have received more attention.This is an important measure for urban planning and construction to adapt to the development of the new era.It also marks an important transformation of urban planning concepts and methods in the new era and promotes the city.The improvement of space quality is in line with the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life.The birth of new urbanism was to prevent the disorderly spread of the city.The community concept of new urbanism has certain guiding significance for the community construction in the era of stock planning in our country.Based on the perspective of new urbanism,the community should have the characteristics of multi-purpose,compactness,and pedestrianization.The formation of these characteristics depends on the spatial configuration of convenient facilities.At present,urban communities in our country are entering the renewal stage,and the space allocation of convenience facilities is an important part of community renewal.This article discusses the transformation of the community concept of new urbanism into the space allocation strategy that guides the convenience facilities of urban communities.Community planning takes residents as the core,takes residents’ community life as the planning object,and guides residents to live comfortably and conveniently as the planning goal.Convenience facilities,as the most suitable service facilities for residents’ community life,have a profound impact on residents’ life experience and the construction of urban communities.Existing research mainly focuses on government-led deployment of service facilities,and few researches are based on market-led convenience facilities.The evaluation indicators of service facilities based on the city scale are diverse,and the evaluation indicators of convenience facilities based on the community scale need to be supplemented.Evaluation and analysis of convenient facilities in built communities has become a problem faced by urban community renewal.The spatial configuration elements of convenience facilities in urban communities from the perspective of new urbanism include types and quantities,spatial layout,and walking paths.This article proposes three evaluation indicators for richness,compactness,and accessibility,and uses richness to evaluate the types and quantities of convenience facilities.Use compactness to evaluate the spatial layout of convenient facilities,and use accessibility to evaluate the walking path of convenient facilities.Realize the quantitative analysis of richness,compactness,and accessibility with the help of geographic information methods and technologies.Investigations were conducted in the Wanwanzhuang community and Ganjiakou community,and the problems in the space allocation of convenience facilities were found.Based on the perspective of new urbanism,the space allocation strategy of the convenience facilities was proposed,and the Yuhaiyuan community was used to evaluate and analyze the application of the convenience facilities and the space allocation strategy.practice.This paper develops the research on the space allocation strategy of convenience facilities from the perspective of new urbanism,supplements the evaluation indicators of convenience facilities at the community scale,uses quantitative analysis and field research to find out the problems in the space allocation of convenience facilities,and proposes the space allocation of convenience facilities based on the perspective of new urbanism.Strategy.Provide a theoretical basis and feasible and effective technical methods for the evaluation indicators of the space allocation of convenience facilities,and help guide the space allocation of convenience facilities in urban communities under the background of stock planning.Through the abundant,compact and accessible space configuration of convenient facilities,the new urbanism community with compound functions,compact structure and walkable is realized,which will help residents realize a better life and enhance residents’ sense of life.
