| Due to the inherent complexity and uncertainty of the project,companies in the construction supply chain have information hiding behaviors for enterprises’ own interests.In the actual project implementation,the cost overrun caused by poor information sharing was huge.Therefore,promoting the information sharing among supply chain enterprises has become a key issue that needs to be solved urgently.Some scholars have pointed out that core enterprises can guide enterprises to form relatively stable and strong long-term cooperative relationships,and improve information sharing between enterprises.In the context of the construction supply chain,the general construction contractor is the implementer and manager of the project.It has a core leadership position,so the general contractor for construction is taken as the core company in this study.However,there is no research on specific leadership styles should be adopted by core companies to guide member companies’ information sharing.Therefore,the mechanism and path of different leadership styles on supply chain information sharing need to be further clarified.At present,the leadership styles of supply chains are mainly transformational and transactional.However,most existing studies regard leadership styles as global variables.This study classifies transformational leadership into consistency transformational and difference transformational leadership;transactional leadership is divided into development exchange leadership and corrective avoidant leadership.In addition,the research on manufacturing supply chain points out that the relationship quality plays a key role in the supply chain information sharing.Therefore,this study uses supply chain enterprises which regarded construction general contractor as core enterprises as research units to conduct an empirical analysis,constructs an intermediary model based on the relationship quality,and explores the impact of different leadership styles on information sharing in the supply chain.This study puts forward relevant management suggestions,and provides theoretical and practical implications for information sharing of construction supply chain.This study includes four parts: Firstly,this paper explains the background and meaning of the topic in detail,and reviews the literature on each variable.Secondly,based on the theory of the research review,the paper proposes hypotheses,and constructs a structural equation model.Thirdly,a questionnaire scale was designed based on the maturity scale,and conducted empirical tests.The results show that two transformational leadership styles both positively influence supply chain relationship quality.In addition,development exchange leadership style increases relationship quality,while corrective avoidant leadership style decreases relationship quality.Moreover,the relationship between leadership styles and information sharing is partially mediated by relationship quality.Finally,according to the research conclusions,this study provides appropriate suggestions and guidance for information sharing management of construction supply chain,and the rapid transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. |
