With the rapid increase of car ownerships,the "difficult parking" problem becomes more serious.When studied parking problem,the researchers found parking cruising behavior.It was ignored for its concealment.Parking cruising behavior is an important part of parking behavior.When parking space occupancy ratio reaches 85%,parking cruising behavior will occur inevitably.Cruising vehicles seized the road resources of normal vehicles.Parking cruising behavior product traffic flow certain interference inevitably because of its behavior characteristics such as low-speed driving characteristic.Cruising vehicle hindered normal vehicle travel,increased traffic pressure and environmental pollution,and affect the effective operation of the urban transportation system.Therefore,how to analyze the influence mechanism of parking cruising behavior on the traffic flow of the central urban road network and propose improvement strategies according to the characteristics of parking cruising behavior is an urgent problem to be solved at this stage.The research results of this paper have important theoretical research significance and practical application value for improving traffic congestion and reducing traffic pollution.First of all,the parking behavior test car method,flow of floating car method and video collection method were used to collect the parking cruising behavior characteristics.They were the parking cruising vehicle GPS trajectory,cruising time,cruising speed and acceleration,cruising vehicle proportion,lane change and other car cruising behavior characteristic parameters and the flow,speed and travel time of normal traffic and cruising traffic in this paper.The preliminary analysis of the survey data showed that parking cruising behavior had a negative impact on traffic flow operation,and its behavior characteristics were unique.The result of VTM comparison showed that there was obvious deviation in cruising route,and the cruising VTM was 3.7 times of normal.It had wide coverage and deep impact.Secondly,a Hazard-based duration model was proposed to analyze the factors that affect the travel time,including the flow,time,speed,acceleration,lane change frequency,and distracting time of the parking cruising vehicle.Meanwhile,the paper established a multivariate linear.The regression model was compared with the former results to verify the accuracy of the model results.The model results showed that 9% to 56% of the traffic flow was parking traffic flow,the average parking time was about 6.03 min.The results showed that high-speed driving of vehicles had a positive effect on shortening travel time,while other factors had a negative effect on shortening travel time.Then,a simulation model of parking cruising impact was established to study the impact of parking cruising behavior based on the characteristic parameters of parking cruising behavior.The results of the model were analyzed from intersections,road segments,and the overall road network.The results showed that(1)parking cruising behavior had a negative impact on the traffic flow and environment of the road network.It decreased the average speed,increased the number of stops,delays and queue length,aggravated traffic congestion,and increased emissions and fuel consumption;(2)When the proportion of vehicles parked in the area was about 30%,the average speed of the road network decreased by 41.37%,the flow rate decreased by 24.42%,the queue length increased by 235.10%,the delay increased by 92.01%,the number of stops increased by192.13%,and the total emissions increased by 97.75%.Finally,according to the impact of parking cruising behavior,three traffic optimization schemes were designed: optimization of traffic organization,optimization of parking lot entrance and exit,and optimization of parking lot location.After the optimization,the impact of parking cruising behavior was improved,among which optimization of parking lot location was the most effective scheme.The research results provided a quantitative method for the hidden contribution of parking cruising to traffic congestion,provide a new perspective for the improvement of traffic operation efficiency and pollution control in the central urban area,and are helpful to improve the parking planning and management level.
