In recent years,with the development of economy and education,more and more university staffs,who originally live on the campus,are moving to the outside.And it also leads to the increasing rapidly number of private cars owned by these people.In addition,the interaction between school and society is becoming closer.As the result,the campus parking problem is becoming more and more prominent.Although they mostly have installed smart parking systems,parking problems at the campus are still serious.In the first chapter,the research status of parking problems at home and abroad is reviewed and summarized.In the second chapter,a questionnaire survey was conducted in Capital University of Economics and Business to find some problems in campus parking.Then,the VISSIM simulation software and simulation model are introduced at the third chapter.Next,in the fourth chapter we build a simulation model of campus parking road based on certain data and theoretical basis,and verifies the relevant parameters of the model based on the actual case of the campus.Finally,at the fifth chapter with the VISSIM simulation software,the simulation experiment result is analyzed,which is mainly from the parking queue length,travel time,average speed,service level,the average delay this five aspects.The sixth chapter gives countermeasures and suggestions on campus parking problems from management and technology combined with the simulation results.The research tools are mainly simulation software VISSIM,and we mainly select the internal main parking traffic situation and problems in campus as the case.This study result will play an important role on campus parking problems in other more colleges,moreover,which can also have certain reference significance at urban parking problems.
