On-street parking is a convenient and relatively flexible way to meet people’s short-term parking needs,effectively relieve parking pressure,and play an important role in the future.However,on-street parking will occupy limited road resources,reduce the capacity of the carriageway,and easily cause traffic accidents.For non-mixed roads on the road,the problems caused by on-street parking are more severe.Therefore,in-depth study of the impact of on-street parking on the operating characteristics of secondary trunk traffic flow has important theoretical and practical value for improving road service levels and alleviating traffic congestion.This paper uses cellular automaton modeling and VISSIM simulation modeling to study the influence of on-street parking behavior on traffic circulation capacity and delay.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)First analyze the on-street parking setting conditions;secondly,analyze the mechanism of on-street parking behavior on dynamic traffic flow;finally,take the actual road as an example,use an industrial-grade camera to capture macroscopic parking traffic video data to obtain the current / opposite motor vehicle flow,non-motorized Traffic,parking data,etc.analyze the impact of on-street parking on motor vehicle flow,non-motor vehicle flow,and non-mixed traffic flow,so as to determine the traffic influencing factors of on-street parking behavior,and provide basic data support for the construction of secondary arterial parking models.(2)Based on cellular automata,a simulation model of two-way two-lane road under the influence of on-street parking behavior was established.The model takes into account factors such as the duration of parking maneuvers,the proportion of parking,the length of parking belts,and the traffic volume of non-motor vehicles.It incorporates the rules for entering and exiting parking vehicles and the rules for changing lanes when vehicles are hindered by parking vehicles.Combined with actual cases,the accuracy of the model is verified.Finally,based on the cellularautomata model,the influence of different influencing factors on the on-street parking flow was studied in detail.(3)The VISSIM simulation software was used to establish the simulation model of the non-mixed traffic flow in the parking section of the two-car road,and the accuracy of the model was verified in combination with the actual case.Based on the VISSIM simulation,the delays caused by the non-motor vehicle flow,the length of the parking belt and the different parking modes on the on-street parking section were studied in detail.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of the cellular automaton simulation model and the VISSIM simulation model are compared and analyzed using actual cases.
