Abstract/Summary:
This paper is based on the development of electric vehicle industry.Over the years,the global sales of new energy vehicles have increased steadily,and the development of China’s market is particularly stable.China’s electric vehicle sales account for 49.5%of the world’s sales.At present,most countries in the world have issued a plan to prohibit the sale of fuel vehicles,and the development of new energy vehicles is the general trend.Based on the literature research method,questionnaire method,expert interview method,qualitative and quantitative analysis method and systematic analysis method,taking the milestone of electric vehicle development milestone as the baseline,this paper analyzes the quality management problems of electric vehicle development of W company,and puts forward some improvement measures systematically.The research contents of this paper include literature research,development quality management status investigation in W company,investigation of the major problems of quality management in electric vehicle development phase,and improvement measures are put forward.These quality management problems can be divided into development planning quality management problems and quality management problems in implementation stage.Quality management problems in the development planning stage,including the lack of integration among marketing,R&D and manufacturing,the lack of identification and transformation of customer perceived quality,missing quality evaluation during market targeting;and the quality management problems in the implementation stage including the lack of systematic failure mode analysis,insufficient quality responsibility definition,PSP problem solving process is not perfect,complex quality problem solving mode is missing,technology change control has not formed a closed loop.The corresponding improvement measures which are divided into two parts,namely,the improvement measures in the development planning stage and the improvement measures in the implementation stage.The improvement measures in the development planning stage include:establishing a new product development framework,establishing the perceived quality assessment measures for target market selection,set up a customer perceived quality QFD;and the improvement measures at the stage of implementation including the application of FMEA tools,definition of missing quality responsibilities and setup handover processes,improvement of problem solve process,set up PMT problem solving mode and close loop management of technology change.In this paper,by integrated application of the quality management theory and technological innovation theory(PACE)as well as quality tools,improvement solutions for the existing problems in W company are systematically put forward.Solutions for improvements in development planning stage includes:establishing new product development framework,establishing perceived quality assessment measures for target market selection,establishing customer perceived quality QFD;in implementation stage,the improvement measures include:applying FMEA for risk analysis,defining missing quality responsibilities and establishing handover process,problem solving process improvement;establishing PMT problem solving mode,and closed-loop management of technical change.Research conclusion:we can integrate the TQM and PACE framework to solve the quality management problems existing in the process of EV development by taking PACE as the overall framework during EV development stage,and the TQM theory,QFD,FMEA and other quality tools can be used as the details of PACE framework.By improving the quality management,it is predicted that the development duration of electric vehicles will be shortened by about 20%and 40%,and development waste will be reduced by about 30%to 60%.The number of quality problems in the development stage will be reduced by about 30%,and the average period of quality problems solving will be about 90 days.It has practical significance in enhancing quality competitive advantage and improve satisfactions degree of customers as well as reducing or eliminating quality risk in early preventive stage for W company by improving quality management level during development process of local brand electric vehicles(mainly BEV).
