With the increasingly fierce competition in the industry,KM Design Company needs stronger cost advantage to enhance its competitiveness,so as to obtain projects.At the same time,it needs to increase the number of projects to ensure the profitability of the company.Therefore,more and more projects are carried out at the same time,which is a common phenomenon in the current architectural design industry.This has also led to the decline of project quality and conflict of resource use among projects.Therefore,scientific and rational multi-project management,efficient use of resources,and effective project schedule control are key issues that KM Design Corporation and architectural design industries need to solve.The main objective of this paper is to effectively manage and control project progress under the actual multi-project environment.Based on the analysis of relevant literature and research results at home and abroad,the paper also analyzes the problems commonly existing in multi-project management in architectural design companies.The related theories of multi-project management are elaborated and analyzed.Based on this,the project management methods of key chain projects are proposed to solve the differences between theory and practice,and the theoretical basis of key chain management method is introduced in detail.With the calculation methods of some important parameters,a multi-project schedule management model is established and the algorithm of the established model is described in detail.This article takes the multi-project of KM Design Corporation as the research object,introduces the multi-project situation and resource allocation of this department,and analyzes the problems and causes in the project schedule management and resource configuration management,aiming at the multi-project environment of this department.Under the circumstances that there are resource allocation conflicts and project completion dates are often delayed,the use of key chain project management methods is proposed.Define the order of development of the project by defining the priority levels of different projects,find the bottleneck by comparing the project's demand resources and existing resources,and use related methods of key chain project management methods to optimize the multi-project schedule and find The key chain of the project's operational progress is felt,and the influence of uncertainty on the project schedule is controlled at the important nodes through the increase of buffers.Finally,the multi-project resource allocation and project schedule are solved by establishing a schedule model.This article is based on a combination of theoretical and practical methods,starting with practical problems,and analyzing the current multi-project management issues in project management in China's current architectural design.By introducing key chains and data analysis theories,effective use is made of multi-projects.The management problem proposes a scientific and effective solution method and provides some guidance and reference for the concurrent design of future engineering projects.
