The current rapid development of the civil aviation industry,the increasing traffic in the terminal area,and the emergence of new navigation technologies have resulted in a difference between the actual arrival and departure aircraft flight trajectory commanded by the controller and the standard arrival and departure flight procedures.This degree of difference objectively reflects the ability of flight procedures and the route network composed of them to adapt to changing traffic flow levels.This ability is called the "Air Traffic Control(ATC)serviceability" of flight procedures.At present,most of the assess and optimization of flight procedures proceed from the aspects of safety,economy,and environment,ignoring the connection between controller command and flight procedures.In fact,a large number of historical trajectories store certain laws of controller command.Extracting these laws to study the ATC serviceability of flight procedures will provide a new research direction and method for the assess and optimization of flight procedures.Since the ATC serviceability is a relatively new concept,we first introduce the characteristics of flight procedures and the concept of the ATC serviceability.At the same time,various commonly used clustering methods are analyzed,and the hierarchical clustering algorithm is used in this paper to study the ATC serviceability of flight procedures.Then the radar data format used in this article is introduced,and the radar data is converted and coordinate projected,and the track data is processed by Xshell software under linux system and matlab.Then,the Fast DTW algorithm and average distance are used as the similarity measurement method,and the hierarchical clustering algorithm is improved to analyze the operating characteristics of the track.Based on the analysis results,the average track that can represent the track cluster is constructed.Finally,the three ATC serviceability indicators of flight procedure are used to assess flight procedures,and a flight procedure optimization method based on average trajectory is proposed.This research takes Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport as the object.Based on the above-mentioned research methods,cluster analysis of the arrival trajectory data of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport,and the ATC serviceability index of flight procedure is used to assess the arrival flight procedures.Based on the assessment results and the average trajectory optimizes flight procedures.The results show that the assess of flight procedures based on the ATC serviceability can find the insufficiency of flight procedures,and the optimization of flight procedures based on average trajectory can reduce the controller workload,which is of practical significance.This subject can be further studied in the future.
