Research On Schedule And Resource Management Of Aircraft Overhaul Project Of A Company

In recent years,China’s civil aviation industry has developed rapidly and its scale has been expanding,which also drove the development and improvement for aircraft maintenance industry.Aircraft overhaul is the highest level,most complex and hardest type in aircraft maintenance.In order to ensure the benefits of aircraft operator,it must control the schedule of aircraft overhaul project by effective methods,so as to meet customers’requirements of aircraft parking.Therefore,the schedule management research of aircraft overhaul project has significant meaning for MRO company.In this paper,we take an aircraft overhaul project of A company’s main customer as research object,based on project schedule management theory,and analyze the background and current management method of aircraft overhaul project.Then,complete objective and work decomposition of project by WBS,make clear of the order of tasks in overhaul project,estimate the time usage of all tasks,and use project management auxiliary software to formulate a rational and feasible schedule plan for aircraft overhaul project.Based on that,control the project progress situation.Analyze and make sure of the factors that may influence the progress of this project,combine project schedule control theory,put forward specific control method for project schedule and strong measures to guarantee fluent progress of the project,so as to form a close-loop management of project schedule.This paper makes the overhaul project develop smoothly and completed on time,which achieve the effect of schedule control.The methods and conclusions in this paper can also provide some reference and significance for similar project in aircraft maintenance industry.
