Progress management is an important aspect in the field of project management.The traditional method of progress management is manual and delivered by hand-written.It has the following disadvantages:Firstly,it lacks real-time,so this is inefficient and difficult to guarantee the accuracy of information transmission.Secondly,it lacks integration.The project information is fragmentary,and it is difficult to establish a stable and systematic database to serve the project construction.Thirdly,it lacks coordination.All parties involved in the project can’t share the information in real time because of the lack of collaborative management platform.From the point of view of the lack of real-time,many progress information collection technologies have emerged at a historic moment.However,there is room for further improvement in real-time,such as mobile phones in information collection methods.The accuracy of RFID is difficult to guarantee.GPS is mainly used in material transportation fields.The progress measurement in the process of construction is difficult to achieve.Laser scanning can realize real-time,but the cost is high and there will be noisy during the process.Furthermore,the post-processing process requires a large amount of manual assistance.For these problems,a kind of information technology with relatively low cost and more automaticity is expected by the construction industry.In terms of lack of integration and coordination,the construction project field is expecting a system platform that can integrate all engineering data to promote the digitalization of construction engineering.To solve these problems,the thesis aims to establish a progress management system of BIM and AR.First of all,through the method of literature review,it analyzes the current situation of construction progress management and the application field,advantages and limitations of BIM in the construction industry.At the same time,the application of AR technology in the construction industry is summarized.Through the analysis and comparison of the progress information collection technology,the thesis analyzes the advantages of AR in the progress information collection technology.According to the problems in the current construction schedule management and the requirements of the owners.At the system design level,the function analysis,innovation point analysis and requirement analysis of the progress management system based on BIM and AR are carried out.In the basis of this,the design principle,system structure and operation flow of the progress management system are designed and the processing system of BIM data,graphic data and schedule data is constructed.On the operational level of the actual platform,this thesis expounds the introduction and correlation methods of the data of the three-dimensional model,he project data,the cost data,the schedule plan,etc.,the construction site model is reconstructed by image registration,feature point matching,motion structure and model registration,and overlaps with the planning model.Finally,the case simulation is carried out by the wall construction part of the fabricated substation to demonstrate the output of the progress information and the principle of the progress display by the model.The system design of BIM and AR progress management platform provides a technical framework for the development of management platform,and the establishment of data processing system of the system platform provides the possibility for the transmission of the system data.The actual operation flow of the progress management system is designed,which provides the feasibility for the implementation of the system.The effectiveness of the system is verified by case simulation.All in all,through the establishment of the progress management system,automatic collection of progress data,three-dimensional display of progress models,automatic output of progress reports and the virtual roaming can be achieved.In terms of benefits,the system reflects the collaboration,the integration,the real-time and the automation.The combination of BIM and AR has high application value in the field of progress management.
