Study On The Design Of Age-appropriate Public Spaceon In Henan Nursing Home

With the development of China’s economy,the continuous improvement of residents’ medical and sanitary conditions,the continuous increase of human life expectancy,and the consequent aging and other issues are increasingly prominent.Statistics from the ministry of civil affairs show that China’s population is getting older and older.People are paying more and more attention to the pension problem.With the deepening of people-oriented thought,the continuous improvement of nursing homes and other related buildings has become an effective way to solve the pension problem and achieved great results.With the increase of residents’ income and the improvement of residents’ living standard,the elderly have put forward new requirements for the living environment in their daily life.The public space of the nursing home is the main place for the daily life and activities of the elderly,which should be equipped with relevant age-appropriate design to meet the survival needs of the elderly and improve the quality of life of the elderly.This paper studies the literature and works on aging design at home and abroad,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the current research results.Based on the current situation of population aging in Henan province,this paper investigates the current situation of age-appropriate design of public space of nursing home in Henan province,and makes a summary and analysis on this basis.This paper cities in Henan province population and economy factors,selected representative three nursing home study,through field survey,questionnaires,behavioral observation,such as a variety of ways,to understand the optimal aging status of public space and the old man nursing home demand,analysis of optimal aging in the nursing home to the defects of public space,combined with domestic and foreign outstanding case analysis,put forward the optimum design of ageing nursing home public space of the optimization Suggestions.This paper takes the aging of public space as the starting point,and studies five parts.1.Explain the concepts of the elderly,public space,and aging suitability.2.According to the physiological,psychological,behavioral and scale characteristics of the elderly,the age-appropriate characteristics were analyzed,providing a theoretical basis for the implementation of the age-appropriate characteristics.3.Classify thefunctions of the nursing home space and conduct in-depth research based on excellent cases at home and abroad.4.On the basis of field research and questionnaire analysis,IPA analysis was used to analyze the cases of three selected nursing homes,and some optimization Suggestions were put forward.5.Summarize the influencing factors and make optimization Suggestions for the insufficient aging space of nursing homes.
