The Discussion About Nursing Home And Community Public Space

Our country has already entered the aging society,with the development of the society, population aging will enter every aspect of our lives and request differently in our social, economic and other aspects. So, how to let the elderly get well through their late years becomes one of the major social issues. China's situation decide that Chinese mode of supporting the elderly is the support of family and society together, thereby, this article discuss the two modes of supporting the elderly by researching the public space of the examples.This article discusses the old people's special requirements to public space basing on the old people's physiology, psychology, behavior characteristic. In the way of observation combining with survey, it takes two nursing houses and two communities as actual examples to find some prevalent problems in current nursing houses and communities for the elderly using. Then, after learning interrelated knowledge, using outstanding examples for reference and analyzing the problems, I give out some proposals. And I hope that these research results can play a certain guiding role in the design of nursing house and communities.
