| The problem of the aging society in China is becoming more and more serious,and the demand of nursing home is increasing.At the same time,with the improvement of the living standard,the requirements for the quality of the nursing home are also increasing.Building physical environment as a daily learning and living space has a long-term and subtle influence on people.While the elderly are physically degenerated,there are certain differences between the elderly and other age groups,therefore the building physical environment design of nursing homes should be more targeted.So,this paper explores the building physical environment optimal strategies which will base on the characteristics and needs of the elderly,focus on the various experiences of the elderly and cope with the deterioration of the perceptions caused by the physical deterioration of the elderly,provide a better sense of the environment for the elderly,and even alleviate the perceived decline of the elderly.Firstly,this paper will intensive study the physical,psychological,behavioral characteristics of the elderly which related to the physical environment of buildings and relevant specification requirements.Chapter Ⅲ is about the physical environment of the indoor public space of 14 nursing homes in Nanjing,which is a comprehensive field survey,including field investigation,building surveying,and subjective questionnaire survey,the acoustic environment and luminous environment of 10 nursing homes were tested by some instruments.Combined with subjective questionnaire and objective test data,the present situation and problems of indoor public space in nursing homes are analyzed comprehensively.Chapter Ⅳ,proposes the optimal strategies for the indoor public space physical environment in the nursing home for the elderly,based on the characteristics of the elderly and conbined with the research and analysis.Chapter Ⅴ further uses the strategies to optimize the actual project of a nursing home in Nanjing and use computer software simulation analysis to demonstrate the improvement effect.Through the above research and engineering practice,this paper studies the optimal strategy of the acoustic environment and the light environment of indoor public space in nursing homes,then the computer software was used to simulate the simulation.This optimical strategy relates the physical environment of the building to the special physical function of the elderly,providing environmental protection for the elderly to live in a more comfortable old age,at the same time,this paper provides a train of thought for China’s population aging from the perspective of building physical environment. |
