Renovation Design Of Traditional Houses In Xiawu Village Based On "Organic Renewal" Theory

With the impact of urbanization,people’s demand for living conditions has gradually increased,and traditional houses are undergoing changes to varying degrees,or even dying out.The protection of traditional houses does not mean simple storage,and the improvement of houses does not mean the abandonment of the past.It is only possible to seek a holistic,dynamic and sustainable renewal approach to achieve the inheritance of traditional house culture and the improvement of social benefits.More long-term promotion of the continuation of the traditional residential context.Based on the guidance of organic renewal theory,this article first summarizes the connotation and principles of organic renewal theory,provides a theoretical basis for design research,and through the analysis of related successful cases,summarizes the solutions and strategies of different cases for the design of this article.Practice provides a certain reference and inspiration.Secondly,this article takes the residential houses of Xiawu Village,Yifeng County,Jiangxi Province as the research object,summarizes and introduces the environment profile,historical evolution and cultural style characteristics of the local traditional houses in Xiawu Village,and summarizes them based on field investigations,measurements and photos.After analyzing some problems and deficiencies of the local dwellings,a classification analysis of Xiawu village dwellings was proposed,which can be divided into four categories: one type of buildings: mainly historical and cultural relics dwellings that are well preserved and protected by local cultural protection units Architectures,such as some former residences of literati,ancestral halls and academies,etc.Type II architecture: mainly refers to the incomplete destruction of the style and function,the interior can not meet the needs of modern life,or even no one has managed,abandoned traditional residential houses,and some residential buildings with antique appearance;The three types of buildings refer to some newly-built residential buildings that have been rebuilt on the original site;the four types of buildings: mainly some dilapidated and abandoned residential buildings that are facing collapse at any time.These four types of macros represent different types of residential houses in Xiawu Village.Through a research method from point to surface and from whole to part,combined with cases,they have made corresponding theoretical analysis of the current status and future prospects of residential houses,and completed the overall Update the frame and direction.In the framework of organic renewal,this article focuses on the design practice of the second type of traditional residential renovation design.On the spot,a traditional residential house with a defective building and idle and abandoned in Xiawu Village is selected,and an antique old residential house is connected.As a representative of the combined building case,follow the overall principles and ideas of organic renewal,and establish its overall strategy and method of transformation.Finally,according to the results of field research and measurement,on the basis of respecting the original style of the building,the function transformation and optimization of the interior space were completed,in order to transform it into a space form of civil and bed and breakfast,showing the modernization of traditional houses in a more diversified way And economic value.It is hoped that through the research on the organic renewal and transformation of this kind of traditional houses,this article can promote the long-term and more sustainable way of living the traditional houses and provide an effective reference value for the renewal of such traditional houses in the village and other villages.
