In Europe,different types of traditional dwellings are distributed on the land of the German countries.They all appeared from the ancient times and evolved over time.They strive to adapt to the local natural and human conditions and represent The local unique historical and traditional culture has rich artistic and regional architectural features.Today,as historical buildings are more and more valued by people,it is necessary to study the protection and utilization of traditional houses.This article selects the traditional North German dwellings with a certain representative and rich development history to introduce,trying to show the typical characteristics of this traditional Chinese dwelling house architecture.At the same time,it explores how to properly adapt the traditional dwellings in the contemporary residential environment Make a transformation.The research object selected in this article is the hall-type traditional dwellings in traditional villages in Nordwest-Mecklenburg region,as the living place of local residents.Its architectural characteristics are closely related to environmental factors and regional culture.This article specifically analyzes this type of traditional houses from six aspects,elaborate as far as possible at the theoretical level to show its architectural features intuitively,and analyzes the contemporary development,policies and renovation cases of German traditional houses.Theory guides practice,and finally complete the renovation project of a traditional house in Mecklenburg,Germany which was selected and provided by the German professor.The author communicated and surveyed with the owner and other villagers,and completed the renovation design under the guidance of the German professor.It has certain application value and practical significance.At the same time,the scientific research and design techniques involved in it also provide more references for the maintenance and reconstruction of the characteristics of China's traditional residential buildings.The study of traditional German dwellings in this paper is mainly divided into the following parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly sorts out the research background,the current status of research at home and abroad,and elaborates the research purpose,significance and methods of the paper.There is a certain definition of related concepts,and a general research framework is proposed.The second part mainly introduces the classification of traditional German dwellings.At the same time,it summarizes the local area from the natural and human environment and analyzes the general area.The scope of the study is defined by the factors that affect the traditional dwellings in the sense.At the same time,the environmental characteristics of the architectural groups in the villages in the area are explained.The third part is the key chapters of the full text.It mainly introduces the architectural characteristics of traditional hall-style dwellings from six aspects: planar layout,facade modeling,space form,structural form,detailed structure,and use of materials.The modern development and application of transformation,through case analysis of contemporary transformation design methods and strategies,to achieve the theoretical transition of the chapter to support the practice;the fifth part is the final transformation project design,through the research and analysis of the previous sections,apply theoretical guidance to the actual reconstruction project;the sixth part is a summary chapter,look forward to the development and renovation design of this type of traditional dwellings in Germany,analyze and summarize the reference and reference significance for the protection and transformation of the traditional dwellings in China,and finally summarize and reflect the problems in this study.
