A Study On Optimized Design Of Urban Elderly Institution Based On The Visiting Behavior

The intensification of aging and the development of old-age care institutions have put forward higher requirements for the design and research of elderly institutional.In view of the disadvantages of social resistance and the reduction of family care in institutional old-age care,communicative behavior can effectively reduce the negative emotions of the elderly in institutional care.In the current research results,the focus is mainly on the level of internal communication activities for the elderly in institutions,but also worth paying attention to the activities of visiting the elderly in the institution.This research focuses on the visiting behaviors in elderly institutional,combined with relevant theoretical methods such as environmental behavior and sociology,On the basis of investigation,carry out research on the optimization design of elderly institutional based on visiting behavior.The study selected three elderly institutional in Wuhan as the survey object,and conducted preliminary surveys to analyze and define the three types of elements: architectural space,character subject and visiting behavior in the institution.Statistics summarized seven types of space for visiting behaviors,three types of elderly people with different physical and mental functions and three types of visiting activities for different visiting groups.Using architectural planning,environmental behavior and other related research methods,around the visiting behavior,investigation and analysis are carried out from the three dimensions of time,characters and space.Quantitative analysis,cross-analysis and analogy analysis of the survey results,summarize the time characteristics,personal characteristics and spatial visiting behaviors characteristics.Analyze the spatial attributes,behavioral characteristics,activity flow lines,human body characteristics,user needs,etc.in different behavior-scenarios.Investigate the spatial environment elements,visiting behavior activities,and perceptual cognition of the visiting behavior in space type of elderly institutions through the investigation method of environmental behavior.Summarize the problems encountered when visiting activities in various space areas,and put forward space optimization strategies based on functions,scales,space levels,furniture configuration,etc.Finally,based on the research of visiting behaviors,from the aspects of location selection,site planning,architectural design,and space environment,put forward space optimization strategies that are conducive to the occurrence of visiting behavior,from the aspects of visiting policies,service scope,event organization,emerging technologies and catalyst elements,put forward suggestions on management methods,create a comfortable,humane,and socially integrated pension environment.
