Research On The Suitability Of Urban Public Space For The Elderly Based On The Elderly Intensive Behavior

With the acceleration of China’s aging process,the urban elderly population is increasing,and the social pension pressure is great.Population aging has become an important problem that can not be ignored.With the rapid expansion of the city,the old city is declining,and the elderly account for a large proportion of the population in the old city.The existing urban public space can not meet the needs of the elderly activities.Urban public space provides a good landscape environment and rich activity facilities for the elderly,attracting the elderly to the urban public space.The elderly are the main users of urban public space such as urban parks and squares.Urban public space has also become the main place for the elderly to carry out social activities and leisure entertainment.But in the construction and development of the city,it is often easy to be ignored.Many existing urban spaces,roads,urban furniture and supporting facilities generally have the phenomenon of "not suitable for the old".Therefore,the research on the suitability of urban public space for the old has practical significance.Firstly,this paper discusses the background of aging society in Ganzhou city and China and clarifies the urgent need of the research on the aging suitability of urban public space.By reviewing the related literature at home and abroad in the practice,the research status of optimum described design,has been clear about the concept of senile for dense urban public space and the research scope,based on the environmental behavior and psychology of aging,gerontology,location theory and analytic hierarchy process(ahp)theory,combined with the old people’s psychological characteristics,behavior characteristics,behavior rule and influence factors of the elderly activities conducted systematic research and analysis,and combined with domestic and international old urban public space optimum design of the first case,designed for optimum senile Ganzhou city old city public space to provide theoretical basis.In this paper,starting from the activities of the elderly in urban public space,the city of Ganzhou city old elderly intensive behavior questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation,the public space in Ganzhou park and west area,for example,based on the aging behavior of urban public space types,regular and space-time distribution research,analyses the reason of elderly intensive action space forms and existing problems,and to accessibility,safety,comfort and belonging for the principle,construction is best described evaluation system of the space,space system of evaluation for elderly intensive behavior,and the enthusiasm of both the urban public space,proper described the design and retrofit and advice are put forward.The purpose of this paper is to cause social attention to the elderly,in the construction of city development,community endowment system perfect at the same time,make the city space available,as much as possible to alleviate the urban public space and the demand of the elderly activities supply contradiction,creating a vibrant urban public space,the elderly daily leisure activities to create a more comfortable and convenient environment,for the future construction of "the whole age city" provide the necessary theoretical basis and the reference value,make comfortable,happy in his life for the elderly,to the healthy development of the city.
