As the world’s largest trader of goods, import and export trade has become an important driving force for China’s economic growth in recent years.Since the outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008,international market demand has shrunk.Although China ’s export trade has basically increased year by year, the growth rate is not optimistic, and GDP growth has slowed year by year. The downturn in foreign trade has limited China’s economic development.Mechanical and electrical products have long been the pillar products of China’s foreign trade.Since 2003,they have occupied most of China’s export trade. The steady growth of mechanical and electrical products exports has played an important role in promoting China’s foreign trade development and economic growth. In addition, over the past half century, with the continuous advancement of global economic integration, trade between countries in the world has become closer, traditional trade barriers have been gradually reduced, and mutually beneficial trade agreements have gradually increased. How can china continuously reduce the cost of international trade, and increase the degree of trade facilitation, and then stimulate the potential of trade and better promote the global economy to achieve a win-win situation in the continuous opening up is a subject worthy of study.Based on the above background, this article first sorts out relevant research on trade facilitation by scholars at home and abroad;secondly,it elaborates the connotation of trade facilitation, and sorts out the relevant theories on trade facilitation;then from the scale of exports, the structure of export products, and Summarize and analyze the current situation of China’s mechanical and electrical products export in terms of market structure and problems;then select panel data of 25 major exporting countries of China’s mechanical and electrical products from 2011 to 2017,using 4 primary indicators and corresponding 16 secondary The index builds a comprehensive index evaluation system for trade facilitation, and measures and analyzes the level of trade facilitation of the major exporting countries. Finally, the extended trade gravity model is used to empirically analyze the impact of the level of trade facilitation of the major exporting countries on China’s mechanical and electrical products exports. The conclusion is that for every 1% increase in the level of trade facilitation of major exporting countries, the export value of China’s mechanical and electrical products increased by 1.6441%,and a regression analysis was made on each level of trade facilitation indicators. The results show that the biggest impact on the export volume of mechanical and electrical products is the regulatory environment of the major exporting countries, followed by the customs environment, transport efficiency and impact of ecommerce and electronic products exports is not significant, and put forward policy recommendations. |
