Study On The Impact Of Trade Facilitation Of Brics Countries On China's Mechanical And Electical Products Export

In recent years,the global political and economic situation has continued to undergo profound and complex changes.The global economic growth has slowed down and the growth momentum is insufficient.At the same time,protectionism and unilateralism in western developed countries have continued to evolve and strengthen,leading to a sharp increase in uncertainty in the international situation.With the intensification of competition among major countries,the intensification of trade frictions between countries has hindered the normal development of international trade,which has challenged developing countries to formulate relevant countermeasures.The BRICS countries,with their sustained and rapid economic growth,have become important positive and stable factors for the healthy development of the world economy and the maintenance of international order.With the formal entry into force of the Trade Facilitation Agreement,promoting trade facilitation has become the focus of attention of the BRICS countries.By improving the level of trade facilitation of various countries,this will help promote the reduction of bilateral trade costs,promote trade cooperation between China and the BRICS countries,and further play an important role in the common development of the BRICS countries and the growth of the world economy.Therefore,studying the impact of the level of trade facilitation of BRICS countries on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products will not only help China's exports of mechanical and electrical products to BRICS countries,but also serve as a model for other countries and further expand the market for mechanical and electrical products.The research problem of this article is the degree of influence of the level of trade facilitation of the BRICS countries on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products.The four different aspects of the trade facilitation index have different impacts on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products.Based on the above background,this paper first made an in-depth study of the existing achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on trade facilitation,then introduced the definition of trade facilitation by the world trade organization,the organization for economic cooperation and development and apec,and sorted out relevant transaction cost theories and international trade theories.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of China's export of mechanical and electrical productsto brics countries,including the overall situation of China's export of mechanical and electrical products,the scale and structure of China's export of mechanical and electrical products to brics countries.The trade facilitation level of the five brics countries was measured again using the principal component analysis method,including four primary indicators including customs environment,infrastructure,communications environment and regulatory environment,as well as 15 secondary indicators.The trade facilitation level of the five brics countries was analyzed and compared in detail.Finally,the empirical part selects the panel data of brics countries from 2009 to 2018,and USES the extended trade attraction model to analyze the impact of brics countries' trade facilitation level on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products based on the comprehensive level of trade facilitation and sub-indicators.The empirical results in this paper show that: This paper selects the explanatory variables of the level of trade facilitation of the BRICS countries to have the greatest impact on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products.For every 1%increase in the level of trade facilitation of the BRICS countries,China's exports of mechanical and electrical products to the BRICS countries The amount will increase by 1.07%.There are also differences in the impact of sub-indicators on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products.Among them,the improvement of infrastructure quality has the greatest promotion effect on China's mechanical and electrical products exports,and its regression coefficient is 0.87,that is,under the premise of other factors unchanged,every 1% of the infrastructure quality of the importing country increases,China's exports of its mechanical and electrical products The amount will increase by 0.87%,followed by the regulatory environment and the customs environment,with regression coefficients of 0.69 and 0.65,respectively,and the communication environment fails to pass the significance test.This may be because the quality of the communication infrastructure of the BRICS countries needs to be improved and the level of Internet applications Low,resulting in this indicator does not have a significant impact on China's exports of mechanical and electrical products.
