Impact Of Trade Facilitation On China’s Export Of Mechanical And Electrical Products To RCEP Member Countries

In recent years,The competitiveness of China’s mechanical and electrical products in the international market has been significantly strengthened,and the export scale has also been expanded.The proportion of such products in China’s export structure of all goods trade has increased from 57.2% to 58.38%.However,due to the impact of technical barriers to trade,the growth rate was significantly reduced.With the continuous development of regional trade cooperation,the impact of tariff reduction on trade scale is becoming less and less,and other factors hindering trade development are increasing day by day.Therefore,measures aimed at removing barriers to trade development and simplifying trade procedures have gradually become the focus of international economic cooperation.The establishment of RCEP has put forward higher requirements for trade facilitation,which is conducive to further promoting regional economic integration and provides a good opportunity for expanding the export of mechanical and electrical products.However,due to the overall low level of trade facilitation in RCEP countries and unbalanced development,promoting the promotion of trade facilitation in RCEP countries has become a key breakthrough to promote China’s export scale to RCEP countries.Therefore,it is of great significance to comprehensively and objectively measure and evaluate the development level of trade facilitation between China and RCEP countries to promote the trade of electromechanical products between China and RCEP countries.Based on a comprehensive understanding of China’s exports of mechanical and electronic products for RCEP member status,trade facilitation as the research object,create trade facilitation evaluation index system,the member states of the measured level of trade facilitation,based on the empirical analysis of the member states of the RCEP level of trade facilitation effect on China’s mechanical and electrical products exports to the region.The empirical test results show that the trade facilitation level of RCEP member countries can promote the export of Chinese electromechanical products.Finally,on the basis of the previous research results,some suggestions and plans are put forward from the perspective of improving trade facilitation for the purpose of promoting the development of export trade.
