A Study On The Form Design Thinking And Strategy Of Building Renovation And Extension In Urban Historic Environment

As the material carrier of urban history and culture,urban historic environment is the non renewable resources and charming factors in the city.Protecting the urban historic environment and promoting its development has always been the goal of the architecture and planning fields.On the one hand,based on the current social background of the development of incremental stock transfer in Chinese cities,on the other hand,with the change of life,the demand for building renewal or supplement is inevitable,so it is of great practical significance to study the building reconstruction and expansion in the urban historical environment.Related past research has been relatively rich that how to integrate the design of building renovation and extension into the historic environment of the city,but most of them are design principles from a macro perspective,lack of summary or refinement of thinking patterns in the design process,and research from design thinking and strategies can be supplemented.In this thesis,the architectural text is regarded as the design "thing" and the building form is regarded as the design "object",from design "thing" to design thinking to design "object".First,based on the classic case presenting the characteristics of different design trends and learning from narratology,we can summarize the design thinking of building renovation and extension in the historic environment of the city into"Conform-Analogy","Counter-Juxtaposition","Hide-Concession" Three modes.By analyzing these three modes,we can grasp the inherent laws of design thinking and improve design awareness.Then,we can summarize typical design strategies from morphological language.Due to the complexity of real problems,sometimes the comprehensive application of different design thinking and strategies may be more conducive to meeting the multiple demands of design.At the same time,this thesis also clarifies the adaptability of different design thinking and strategies in the historic environment of the city.Finally,an empirical study is used to verify the application of the design thinking and strategies summarized in the previous section in concrete practice.Through the way of problem analysis,summary and design demonstration,this thesis discusses the building renovation and extension in the urban historic environment from the thinking and strategy of form design,hoping to provide a certain reference for the research of this problem.
