The Contemporary Expression Of Hakka Architecture In West Of Fujian Province

The trend of globalization has made urban and architectural design homogeneous,and the expression of regional architecture has attracted more and more attention.western Fujian,as an important hakka settlement,has its unique architectural and cultural characteristics.The buildings with hakka cultural characteristics designed in western Fujian are also highly praised by contemporary architects and the public.How to better integrate the culture of Hakka architecture in western Fujian with modern architectural design is a subject worthy of our research.This article starts from the study of traditional Hakka architecture in western Fujian,extracts the regional elements and architectural characteristics of traditional Hakka architecture in western Fujian,combines a large number of investigations and analysis,and analyzes and summarizes contemporary western Fujian from three aspects of building shape,symbol,and material.The strategy of Hakka architecture creation provides experience and reference for the establishment of a more complete and systematic design method of Hakka cultural architecture in western Fujian.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the research purpose,object,significance,method and other aspects,sums up the relevant research at home and abroad,as well as the research results of Hakka architecture and Hakka architecture in western Fujian at the current stage,and clarifies the research necessity and feasibility of the thesis.The second part of the thesis analyzes and studies the adaptability of traditional Hakka architecture in western Fujian based on regional factors,and analyzes the characteristics of Hakka architecture in western Fujian from six aspects:settlement,space,shape,material,detail,and ecology.In this article,the elements that can be used in modern architectural design are summarized.The third part of the thesis analyzes contemporary Hakka architecture in western Fujian,or contemporary architecture with Hakka architecture features,as well as some regional architecture.By analyzing the three aspects of form,symbol and material,this thesis summarizes the design methods,application strategies of symbols and material selection,and extracts the design methods and theoretical framework that can be applied to contemporary architectural design.The fourth part tests and summarizes the previous research results in a practical way,and provides reference for the future creation of Hakka cultural architecture in West Fujian.
