Study On The Coupling Coordination Development Of New Urbanization And Ecological Environment In China

In the more than 40 years of development since the reform and opening-up,China’s urbanization has made rapid progress.On the one hand,it has become a driving force for economic growth and social progress,on the other hand,it brings ecological and environmental problems such as population expansion,air pollution,resource shortage and so on.In this context,China puts forward the concept of “New urbanization”and emphasizes the implementation of people-centered new urbanization.Therefore,it is urgent to further clarify the coupling and coordination relationship between new urbanization and ecological environment,so as to put forward corresponding countermeasures and raise the level of their coupling and coordinated development,which is in line with the inherent requirements of new urbanization construction,at the same time,it meets the practical needs of ecological civilization construction.On the basis of literature review,and according to the theory of man-earth system,EKC,the theory of sustainable development,the theory of ecological city and the theory of coordinated development,the evaluation index system of new urbanization and ecological environment system is constructed by entropy method.Using comprehensive evaluation model,coupling degree model,coupling coordination degree model and grey relational degree analysis method,this paper makes an empirical analysis on the comprehensive development level,the development level of each subsystem and the coupling coordination development relationship between the two systems of new urbanization and ecological environment in China from 2010 to 2019,from the perspective of 6 regions and 30 provinces and cities,this paper reveals the comprehensive development level of the two major systems of new urbanization and ecological environment,the development level of each subsystem and the spatio-temporal evolution law of the coupling and coordinated development relationship between them,the main factors that influence the development of the coupling and coordination between the two are analyzed.It is found that,Firstly,from 2010 to 2019,the level of new urbanization and ecological environment development in China is low,and the development of each subsystem is unbalanced.There are obvious differences in space between new urbanization and ecological environmental development level in China.Moreover,the development trend of new urbanization and ecological environment is not symmetrical.Second,from 2010 to 2019,the coupling degree of new urbanization and ecological environment in China is basically at the stage of high-level coupling;the development level of the coupling degree of new urbanization and ecological environment is not good,and the spatial difference is obvious,most of them are the coupling coordination state of new urbanization lag type.Third,the main factors affecting the coupling and coordinated development of new urbanization and ecological environment in China are concentrated in the population and town structure,employment,industrial structure,infrastructure,public services,innovation and opening up,urban-rural coordination and the state and response of the ecological environment,but different in different areas.Based on the findings of the study,in order to enhance the level of coupling and coordinated development of the two systems,and thus promote the high-quality development of the economy and society,this paper puts forward some countermeasures.First of all,we should improve the development level of new urbanization and pay attention to the balanced development of its subsystems and the coordinated development among regions.Secondly,the development quality of ecological environment should be improved.At the same time,the development level of ecological environment should be improved and the response of ecological environment should be enhanced.Finally,the level of coupling and coordinated development of the two systems should be raised.In the process of the development and construction of the new urbanization and the ecological environment,we should take targeted countermeasures according to the main influencing factors and strive to strengthen the construction of the new urbanization within the bearing scope of the ecological environment,strengthening the protection of ecological environment in the construction of new urbanization.
