Research On Contemporary School Uniform Design From The Perspective Of School Uniform Cultural Inheritance In The Republic Of China

School uniform,as the prescribed dress of the school,reflects the students’ spiritual outlook and the school’s school running philosophy.With the high-quality development of China’s social and economic level and education,all walks of life pay more and more attention to the design of school uniforms.Due to the late development of China’s school uniform industry,it is still in the exploratory stage,so the innovative design of school uniform is imperative.This paper takes the school uniform of the Republic of China as the starting point,and provides experience for the current school uniform design through the exploration of its culture.The introduction describes the research background and significance of the subject,the current situation of school uniforms at home and abroad,and the innovation of the subject,so as to lay the foundation for the following research.In the main body,firstly,it explores and combs the history and culture of school uniforms in the period of the Republic of China.The uniform distribution of clothes by Western schools makes the concept of school uniforms come into being.Then,under the influence of western culture,school uniforms show rich and colorful changes.The male school uniforms include the long-distance running mandarin jacket that eliminates the feudal concept of hierarchy,the localized Zhongshan suit of foreign clothes,and the suit representing the symbol of "reform";Female school uniforms contain civilized new clothes that accept new ideas and improved cheongsam that pursues equality between men and women.Under the influence of the awakening of ideology,the transformation of aesthetic concepts,the reform of political system and the promulgation of regulations,the transformation of economic system and the development of media industry,it has gradually changed from traditional style to western style and the combination of Chinese and Western style,and its shape has also changed from traditional plane style to Western three-dimensional style.Secondly,it summarizes the Enlightenment of the school uniform culture of the Republic of China to the contemporary school uniform design.In terms of ideas,on the one hand,it conveys aesthetic education with the help of school uniforms;Second,take school uniforms as the carrier to inherit cultural genes;The third is to build campus culture with school uniforms as the media and guide students to establish correct values;The fourth is to warn students to standardize their personal behavior and cultivate their collective concept;In terms of design,firstly,it meets the psychological needs of students’ growth and carries out design research with students’ aesthetics as the core;Secondly,pay attention to integrating the strengths of China and the West and show the characteristics of inclusiveness;Finally,carry out differentiated design to highlight the concept of gender differences.Then,carry out the field research on the current situation of school uniforms,understand the current development status of school uniforms,set up a questionnaire,analyze the obtained data and information,and summarize the specific causes of school uniform design needs.Finally,based on the design elements of school uniform color,style,structure,surface accessories and function,the school uniform design practice of the integration of China and the west is carried out.In the end,the article is summarized and the prospect of the current school uniform design is put forward.School uniform is related to the healthy growth of students and the steady progress of the school.Therefore,there is great research significance.Taking the school uniform of the Republic of China as the starting point,through the exploration and research of its culture,this paper summarizes the design ideas of the school uniform of the Republic of China and Its Enlightenment to the current school uniform design,in order to inject new vitality into the current and future school uniform design while innovatively designing the school uniform suitable for Chinese students.
