With the continuous development of my country’s economy and society,compared with the past,all aspects of the development of rural areas have made a qualitative leap.The living conditions of the majority of farmers are improving day by day,and they are paying more and more attention to the living environment,eager to have a clean,tidy and beautiful city Living environment.Improving the living environment in rural areas has a bearing on the fundamental well-being of the farmers and the civilized and harmonious rural society.After the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the rural revitalization strategy,governments at all levels have listed the settlement of rural human living environment as one of their important tasks.At present,governments at all levels have issued a series of policies to solve and improve the problems encountered in the construction of rural human settlements,which has greatly improved the rural human settlements compared to the past ones.However,various of difficulties were still encountered in the specific governance process,and governance still has a long way to go.How to improve the rural human settlement environment better and faster will be an issue that governments at all levels need to focus on for a long time.This paper takes city B as the research object,by searching a large number of literature and field research,analyzing and summarizing the current situation of rural human settlement environment governance in city B.City B by promoting the "toilet revolution",sewage treatment,domestic waste treatment,and improvement of the village appearance,the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution,etc.City B has achieved initial results in the treatment of rural human settlements.However,there are still problems such as the lack of the role of village democracies,the failure of departmental synergy,insufficient governance funds,poorly targeted governance measures,and governance not sustainable.Analyze the reasons,involving the reduction of village population and limited role of village democracies;unclear departmental responsibilities and insufficient consultation mechanism;limited capital investment,and diversified investment not yet formed;improper governance measures and lack of talent team;lack of long-term management and supervision,and supervision Several aspects of management `not in place.Combining the analysis of the causes and the experience of typical cases of improving the rural human settlement environment domestic and abroad,City B also needs to strengthen the status of villages,strengthen organizational leadership guarantees,establish a diversified investment mechanism,strengthen technical and talent support,and improve management and supervision mechanisms,and continue to promote the development of rural human settlement environment governance.
