In recent decades,global warming and environmental pollution have been serious problems for human beings.According to the data of the World Resources Research Institute,compared with 100 years ago,the global temperature increased by0.48 ℃ on average from 1981 to 1990.In the face of the threat of global warming and environmental pollution,"low carbon" has become an increasingly concerned problem.Under the background of building a well-off society in an all-round way,China’s economic development and people’s living standards have been improved.As the infrastructure of national economy and social development,the development of highway directly promotes the sustainable development of national economy and social science,In 2019,73.91% of the total passenger volume(10000 people)and72.88% of the total cargo volume(10000 tons)are completed by roads.In recent years,highway construction has developed rapidly.According to the statistics of the National Bureau of statistics of China,the mileage of highway traffic in China will reach 5012500 km in 2019,ranking the first in the world.In the next few decades,the highway network needs to be improved,followed by the carbon emission problem of highway construction,and the emission reduction of highway construction will be an important task.As the largest economic province in China,the construction of highway network in Guangdong Province is getting more and more attention.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of carbon emissions from highway construction in Guangdong Province.The reasons are:(1)highway is the carrier of economic development,and it needs to be improved in the future.Reducing its carbon emissions will be an important task.(2)At present,the research on highway carbon emissions is still relatively small,because the highway is a complex system,the data demand is huge and difficult to obtain,and is affected by regional environment and other factors.Pavement engineering is one of the construction contents of highway engineering,its structure is relatively standardized,and it is less affected by regional environment and other factors.(3)the typical pavement structure in Guangdong Province is formulated based on many years of pavement design and use experience,which has a certain representativeness.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows: firstly,determine the research scope,select the typical pavement structure,determine the boundary of carbon emission system in the construction stage of pavement engineering and the corresponding calculation formula of carbon emission.Secondly,based on the "2018 highway engineering budget quota",calculate the carbon emission of typical pavement engineering construction stage in Guangdong Province,analyze the calculation results,and put forward how to choose the type and model of mechanical equipment in project decision-making to reduce carbon emission.Thirdly,according to the calculation of the carbon emission of the unit workload in the construction stage of typical pavement projects in Guangdong Province,the carbon emission of each meter of typical pavement projects in Guangdong Province is calculated,and the results are analyzed,and the main sources of carbon emission are obtained.Fourth,according to the relevant data collected from the survey and reading,the carbon emission of typical pavement construction stage in Guangdong Province from 2008 to 2019 is calculated and its change trend is analyzed.At the same time,the optimized carbon emission is calculated and compared according to the optimization suggestions.The results show that the average carbon emission is 1.75 times of the optimized carbon emission,and the gap is large,It can be seen that the reasonable selection of mechanical equipment types and models can greatly reduce the carbon emission of pavement engineering construction stage.Fifthly,this paper summarizes a large number of relevant literature research results,follows the original selection principles of scientificity,authenticity and availability,selects the influencing factors of carbon emission in the construction stage of typical pavement projects in Guangdong Province,and then establishes the influencing factors analysis model of carbon emission in the construction stage of typical pavement projects in Guangdong Province Based on STIRPAT model,The software spss19.0 is used for regression analysis of the analysis model,and the results are analyzed,and the relevant emission reduction suggestions are put forward.The results show that among the influencing factors selected in this paper,the resident population has the greatest impact on the carbon emission of pavement construction in Guangdong Province,and the corresponding carbon emission increases by 32.589% for every 1% increase.The research conclusion is helpful to understand the carbon emission level of typical pavement engineering construction stage in Guangdong Province,accumulate the basic data of carbon emission of pavement engineering construction stage,and provide data support of influencing factors for looking for methods to reduce carbon emission in the future,which has good application value.
