| Minimalism,as an important artistic style in the design field, follows the design concept of "less is more",and constantly adapts to and meets the living and aesthetic needs of contemporary consumers. In the design and production of "Hehe" series ceramic tableware for daily use,the author integrated minimalist style and childhood elements into it,mainly considering that more and more young people are facing the pressure of studying, working and living, and people’s aesthetic needs are constantly improving. The requirements for ceramic tableware are no longer only satisfied with the basic uses such as holding and taking, but more and more people are beginning to pursue a simple lifestyle and simple design.Product design has gradually begun to pay attention to seeking simplicity in complexity and beauty in simplicity, and to pursue a kind of "unadorned" beauty of simplicity, which brings people a sense of freshness and elegance,as well as a pleasant and relaxed experience. This paper mainly focuses on the application of minimalist style in the design of daily-use ceramics, summarizes a series of theoretical knowledge of minimalism by means of case analysis and data collation, combines minimalist style theory with the technological practice of ceramic products, and designs and manufactures three sets of daily-use ceramic tableware of Hehe series with gobang, bubbles, building blocks, marshmallows and origami as the main elements, hoping to endow simple ceramic products with rich cultural connotations. |
