A Study Of Female Clothing Of Pingdi Yao

Yao is one of many ethnic groups in Hunan Province.Influenced by natural climate environment,production economy,political and social culture,Yao has developed into different branches,such as Pingdi Yao,Guoshan Yao,Huayao,etc.they have created beautiful clothes with excellent skills and composed a splendid chapter of this ethnic group's clothing culture.The Pingdi Yao in,jianghualingxi,because of its natural geographical location,has frequent exchanges with the Han .The dress culture morphology not only retains the Yao culture gene but also differs from other Yao ethnic groups,and has a high value of ethnology,art and anthropology.This paper takes the Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua,Hunan Province as the object,through the literature analysis,combined with the current situation of the local government's inheritance and protection of the Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua,Pingdiyao in Fuchuan County,Guangxi,and Guoshan Yao in lingdong area of jianghua.From the perspectives of anthropology,ethnology and art,this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic understanding of Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua.First,it summarizes and explores the origin name,regional distribution,space environment,folk customs and so on.Secondly,the distribution,origin and status quo of Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua are sorted out,and the categories of women's clothing are classified from the occasions and objects.The analysis of its artistic features is from the color characteristics,decorative patterns,morphology and structure,and then systematically interpret the deep cultural content of Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua.The analysis shows that the aesthetic psychology of Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua is influenced by natural factors,Chinese culture and social good customs.Then,the paper compares the elements of clothing between the Pingdi Yao in lingxi area of jianghua,and Pingdi Yao in Fuchuan,Guangxi,and concludes the uniqueness of this branch of clothing culture.Finally,through the deep analysis of the realistic predicament and causes of Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua,the paper puts forward suggestions and strategies for the inheritance and development of the Pingdi Yao women's clothing in lingxi area of jianghua.
