Application Of Tang Dynasty Women's Clothing Elements In Modern Women's Clothing Design

China boasts profound and extensive history and culture,with each dynasty carrying its unique spirits and art treasure.And it is the due responsibility of several generations of designers to research the application of traditional cultural factors in modern design.With distinctive history and culture and social environment,the Tang Dynasty reached a high peak of our traditional cultures,whose clothing culture held a prestigious position in China's history of clothing,greatly influencing the culture,style and trend of clothing of later dynasties and the surrounding countries.Costume of the Tang Dynasty has a special structure,magnificent colors,superb embellishment skills and exquisite textures and patterns,incorporating the clothing styles of other Asian countries,the classical philosophy and cultural essence of Buddhism,Taoism and Confucianism in the process of evolution and gradually forming elegant and poised clothing culture.Mainly focusing on the elements of women's dress in the Tang Dynasty,this study takes the cultural background and social environment into consideration,explores their styles and characteristics and discusses the skills and methods of applying these elements to the modern design of women's dress through the in-depth research of the patterns,shell fabrics,structures,colors and workmanship of women's dress in the Tang Dynasty.Besides,with a combination of the theories of this subject and practical research,this study considers how to absorb nutrients from traditional cultures and promote national culture to improve national confidence,evoke people's love for traditional costumes and form an appropriate aesthetics conception of clothing with the time characteristics.
