A Study On The Culture Of Ximpu Women's Clothing In South Fujian

Based on the geographical environment and folk-custom ecological environment of Xunpu,this paper analyzed four aspects of Xunpu women clothing,such as the style of headgear,the shape of clothing,the Manufacturing craft,influence factors of costume formation.First of all,the results of previous studies in anthropology,ethnology and folklore of xunpu women clothing traceability are reviewed.The Xunpu women refers to living in Quanzhou fengze district and its surrounding community women.With the integration of the Minyue culture and the Central Plains culture,the people of Minyue were gradually sinicization,but still some of the cultural factors of Minyue were still left.Although Xunpu women's clothing and related customs have particularity,but do not belong to the category of ethnic minorities.Xunpu women believe in Mazu culture,and currently still maintain the custom of night marriage.On the basis of practical investigation,this paper classifies the hair style,garland,hairpin,comb and headscarf of Xunpu women,and analysis of its folkloric meaning and artistic features.Secondly,the paper studies the costume form worn by Xunpu women in their daily life and toil since modern times,and expounds the characteristics and functions of their clothing.The tops of Xunpu women are divided into two categories:Hongyi and Daju shirt,while the bottoms is divided into two categories: trouser and Zhangzai.Its clothing shape is plane structure,besides the box shape of Hongyi,the other costumes are mostly triangular in shape with narrow top and wide bottom.In order to facilitate the inheritance of the traditional dress culture and its production technology of Xunpu women,this paper is based on the angle of fashion design,combined with related literature research and physical analysis,measured,decomposed and duplicated the material object of Xunpu women according to its category.The chart of measuring and decomposing the structure of Xunpu clothing was drawn.According to the structure chart of restoration,the functional properties of the traditional clothing structure of Xunpu women were studied.Finally,based on the community environment of Xunpu,the article discusses the connotation of clothing culture.The clothing is the carrier of female consciousness of Xunpu women,and has become a symbol of ethnic identification in the long history.The research shows that Xunpu women's clothing structure has obvious geometric shape,pursues the idea of people-oriented,and the design technique meets the requirements of people for the practicality and physiological comfort of clothing.From the four aspects of geographical environment,social economy,religious belief and cultural exchange,this paper discusses the factors affecting the formation and selection of women's clothing,and draws a conclusion that Xunpu women's dress has the characteristics of multiculturalism.Xunpu costume is not only an important branch of folk costumes in south of Fujian and is inseparable with others,but also an independent individual,with distinct characteristics in the region and profound cultural connotation.
