Clothing has been rich in cultural connotations since ancient times.It is called the history worn on the body,the flowing scenery,the material expression of spiritual civilization,and the collective crystallization of national wisdom.This is reflected in the Yi people's clothing in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province.The simplicity,exquisiteness and diversity of the Liangshan Yi costumes are reflected in the exquisite craftsmanship,rich patterns and unique colors.It can be said that Liangshan Yi costumes are a treasure trove of Yi culture.The Yi women played a major role in promoting the formation of the Yi people's clothing culture,which can be said to be the creator of the Yi people's clothing culture.The Yi women's aesthetic consciousness and ideology can be seen from the Yi people's clothing culture.Influenced by the special social culture of the Yi minority,the women of the Yi people gradually promoted the formation of a unique female culture.Female aesthetic changes with the change of female culture.With the progress and development of the scientific age,the traditional costume culture of the Yi people is facing the dilemma of how to inherit and develop.It is imminent to find a way to protect the traditional costumes of the Yi people and adapt them to the development of contemporary trends.At this time,as a "designer",Yi women took the initiative to re-innovate clothing.They tried to push the Yi people's clothing culture to the public,using traditional elements and modern aesthetics to create new Yi people's clothing.With Liangshan Yi people's clothing culture as the background,it is of great research significance to explore how to embody the characteristics and evolution of Yi women's aesthetics from the perspective of clothing.
