This paper takes the double-sided embroidery "Hercules" pattern in run dialect of the Li as the main research object,which involves four aspects: myth and legend,aesthetic composition of pattern,process of pattern embroidery,inheritance and development of double-sided embroidery.Through the field investigation and investigation of the relevant villages and towns in run dialect area of the Li in Hainan Province,and obtaining the first-hand information about the double-sided embroidery "Hercules" pattern of the Li,through the exchange and discussion with the inheritors of the Li's double-sided embroidery technology,this paper analyzes the important position and value embodiment of "Hercules" pattern in clothing,and puts forward the production process of double-sided embroidery "Hercules" pattern of the Li And embroidery needlework from oral transmission and heart to graphic form of record research.The content of this paper is divided into three main parts.The first part is the cultural connotation of the "Hercules" pattern of the the Li,the second part is the decorative art of the "Hercules" pattern of the the Li,and the third part is the craft analysis of the double-sided embroidery "Hercules" pattern of the the Li.The oral legend of the "Hercules" myth and the "Hercules" myth which are recorded and sorted out in books are popular in the run dialect area of the the Li.Although the two myths and legends are different in specific plot,their cultural connotations about ancestor worship are consistent.Hercules pattern,which is widely used in clothing,tells us the "signifier" and "signifier" of the pattern through different modeling structure and arrangement.The embroidery process of dalishen pattern in run dialect can be divided into three parts: dyeing and finishing,research on embroidery law and Research on needling method.Through the research on the process of plant dyeing and double-sided embroidery,the significance of programmed dyeing and embroidery process for pattern inheritance is recorded;through the use of geometric figures in plain weave fabric,we can understand the unique ingenuity of Li women in the embroidery process.As the most important traditional craft of "Hercules" pattern,double-sided embroidery in run dialect of the Li has achieved initial results after ten years' efforts,but it is relatively backward in the road of economy and commercialization.The author studies the related cultural and creative products and sales platform of double-sided embroidery and "Hercules" pattern,and finds that the cultural and creative products related to double-sided embroidery can have a large market blue ocean by means of clear positioning,restructuring and expanding the use.Finally,the conclusion is that the pattern of "Hercules" in run dialect of the Li in Hainan has realized the perfect presentation from myth and legend to craft production.As far as the embroidery process of patterns is concerned,the overall style and rhombic skeleton of patterns are closely related to the embroidery process.The simplicity of embroidery determines the process and method of embroidery.Today,the pattern of Hercules is still applied to traditional clothing and other daily necessities in run dialect area of the Li,which still has strong vitality today.
