Research On The Role And Cultural Interaction Of College Students Participating In The Silverware Handicraft Industry Of Xinhua Village

The introduction of talent resources is an important way to develop the traditional handicraft industry in minority regions.Previous studies on the introduction of talent resources in minority regions have focused on the economic role of talent resources,the attractiveness of economic conditions to talent resources,but less focused on the cultural role of talent resources and the impact of cultural factors on the introduction of talent resources.However,the production in the traditional handicraft industry of minorities includes not only the economic growth of the industry and the economic behavior of the practitioners,but also the cultural construction in society and the cultural value of the practitioners.Therefore,based on the theory of cultural interaction,this article explores the influence of cultural factors on attracting talent resources to the traditional handicraft industries of minority regions,as well as the policies on bringing talents in traditional handicraft industries of minority regions.Xinhua Village is a Bai village based on the handmade silverware industry.In order to adapt to modern lifestyles,aesthetic concepts,and consumer demand,the craftsmen of Xinhua Village have cooperated with colleges and universities across the country to bring in college students to study,produce,and live in Xinhua Village.This is a typical case of studying external talent talent resources in the traditional handicraft industry of minority regions.College students are a group of emerging practitioners with creative design thinking,professional design capabilities,understanding of the needs of the young market,and strong brand awareness in the silverware handicraft industry in Xinhua Village.They have played an active role in the development of Xinhuacun silverware handicraft industry in the aspects of inheriting handicraft skills,enriching product forms,enhancing the brand image of the industry,and expanding multicultural exchanges.They are an important talent resource for its development.In the process of participating in production,the ideology and cultural demands of college students and the traditional social culture of Xinhua Village and the business philosophy of other practitioners in the industry will engender mutual cultural acceptance,adjustment,and exclusion,which will ultimately affect the assembling of talent resources in the silverware handicraft industry of Xinhua Village.In this paper,by participating in the daily life of college students in Xinhua Village,interviewing college students and craftsmen in Xinhua Village,and analyzing and summarizing a number of typical cases,I believe that: the participation of external talent resources in the traditional handicraft industry of minority regions,in fact,is a process of cultural interaction between heterogeneous culture,minority culture and original industry culture.Cultural interaction helps promote the innovation of traditional handicraft industries,and it also helps to build a cultural atmosphere in which multiple cultures participate and tolerate cultural differences.It has practical significance for the healthy and sustainable development of traditional handicraft industries of ethnic regions.Building such a cultural atmosphere requires the government to play an active role,and policy of promoting communication and understanding among different cultures.Policies should promote the establishment of local crafts industry associations,build a platform for multicultural exchanges,and improve the communication mechanism;industry norms should be improved,market behaviors should be strictly regulated,and a business environment of fair competition and cooperation should be created;attention should be paid to the general demands of craftsmen,and protect the basic rights of craftsmen.
