With the rapid development of the economy,the jewellery industry also has an unprecedented development.In the past years,the life of the traditional industry has not been easy,and most of the enterprises have been transformed to the most important areas of their own,leaving those jewellery parts or complicated manufacturing processes to the suppliers.Therefore,the competition among the enterprises is no longer the pure competition between the enterprises,but the competition among the enterprises in the whole supply chain.Product quality is the top priority of enterprise competition,and product quality management is not only the quality management inside the enterprises,but also the quality management of the supplier links.Through research the supplier quality management of MYWA(Shenzhen)Co.,Ltd.,we know that the jewellery style designed and developed by MYWA team,and mass-producted by suppliers after the samples confirmed by MYWA(Shenzhen).After collected and analyzed the data,It is found that the main problem of the product quality in MYWA(Shenzhen)is the defect of the rings.The rings are mainly for outward processing,that is,the quality problem mainly comes from the suppliers.In order to improve the quality of the jewellery-rings,MYWA(Shenzhen)company and its suppliers formed the quality technical team to go deep into the supplier's interior through various forms and solve the quality problems of rings together.Through using the quality control tools and other aspects of jewellery quality in-depth analysis,put forward the corresponding solutions to achieve the goal of reducing the defect rate.Firstly,Pareto's law is used to find out the main problems.The main problems of ring surface defects are loose gemstones,rough surface,cracks and scratches,as well as visible,scattered and relatively large holes on the surface.Then use QC techniques such as three expressionism,fish-bone diagram and association diagram to analyze the causes of the problems,find out the feasible improvement measures,and use PDCA cycle to improve the quality continuously and reduce the defect rate.Finally,these effective measures are made into standard documents for implementation.The ring defective rate decreased from 5.67% to 2%,which improved the quality management of suppliers.It ishoped that the research of this paper can be used for reference to other enterprises' suppliers quality management.
