| Enterprise management must pay close attention to quality.It is true that many small and medium companies are still adopting traditional quality management methods,where quality control fails to link effectively with business operations.Based on the theory of Total Quality Management(TQM)and the WHCR practices,this paper discusses how to develop effective quality improvement.Firstly,it introduces the basic situations of WHCR.Quality stability is the key factor of an enterprise’s development.The quality of WHCR is explained and its major problems are revealed to be weak consciousness and lack of effective management methods.On this basis,measures and steps for quality improvement are elaborated,falling into four main parts.Viewing quality management as a system engineering,the fundamental role ISO9000 plays in the company’s quality management system is emphasized.Learning from the waste elimination thought from lean production,7 kinds of waste behaviors that exist in the company are revealed to be not sufficiently concerned and suggested as the focus of quality improvement.An on-the-spot quality meeting mechanism is proposed as a suitable platform of continuous quality improvement for the company that could accelerate the PDCA circulation and facilitate production training and work-flow optimization.Effective working of this subsystem would also bring together the core team under the thought of total quality management.Department-specific improvement measures should be carried out by R&D,Manufacturing and Inspection departments.The focus of R&D is suggested as knowledge explication and key nodes examination of new products and those for manufacturing and inspection are standardization of operations,visualization of management and highlights of exception reporting.In addition,customer service management and supplier quality management are reinforced.Identification of customer quality and suitability of supplied products should be done from the technology origin.It is also proposed to establish an information publication platform specifically for quality improvement to let the real data voice and catalyze quality improvement.Meanwhile,it would boost communication across department and assign specific responsibility to departments.Through these measure,product problems can be responded to and tackled rapidly and solutions can be solidified.Work-flow optimization of quality management is enhanced and quality awareness among core employees is unified.Consequently,the quality management level of WHCR is upgraded. |
