Investigation And Research On Making Technology Of Mulao Coal-Sand Pottery In Luocheng,Guangxi

Coal-sand pottery is a wonderful handcraft of traditional Chinese pottery.Coal-sand pottery is a kind of unique pottery made of coal as the main raw material.Its raw material,molding and technology,furnace structure,firing process and other technologies have strong ethnic and regional characteristics.In the past,it was called the Mulam god pottery because of its rich functions and indispensable in the life of the Mulam people.From the aspect of historical origin and geographical environment,this paper analyzes the origin and development course of Mulao coal-sand pottery in Luocheng,Guangxi,and correct the mistake statement on "the origin of coal-sand pottery".Taking the coal-sand pottery as the research object,the technological change,national culture,inheritance and protection of the coal-sand pottery are analyzed and discussed.In the process of molding and firing,the production of pottery tools,raw materials,technological process and firing technology were investigated,and the raw materials and firing characteristics and product characteristics of Luocheng coal-sand pottery were recorded and analyzed from the perspective of technology history.From the perspective of national archaeology,we dig into the essence of the "glazing" process of the coal-sand pottery,and understand that the glazing process of the coal-sandpottery is the carburizing process of the pottery,which provides important reference for the study of the carburizing process of the pottery in the early prehistory of China.The physical and chemical properties of raw material,semi-finished product and finished product of coal-sand pottery were analyzed by means of science and technology.The research shows that the sulfur content of finished product of coal-sand pottery is lower than that of semi-finished product.At last,the paper makes a comparative analysis of Zhijin coal-sand pottery and Luocheng Coal-sand pottery,and discusses the problems of keeping to the roots and innovation of the traditional technology,and deeply understands the inheritance and development path of the traditional technology at present.
