Built water purple pottery,Qinzhou Nixing pottery and Rongchang pottery in Chongqing are the important parts of four famous pottery in China.With t he continuous improvement of people's living standards,tea culture has become more and more popular with people.In order to understand the composition an d structure characteristics of mineral raw materials in Built water purple pottery,Qinzhou Nixing pottery and Rongchang pottery,and to provide scientific basis for the effective utilization of this type of clay resources,various modern roc k and mineral testing and analysis techniques?XRD,XRF,SEM,thin section a nalysis,thermal analysis,etc.?were used to study the mineral raw materials of the three places.The main results are as follows:?1?The main raw materials of purple clay in Jianshui of Yunnan provinc e are wuhuatu figuline and white clay,and yellow clay and purple clay are au xiliary raw materials.Wuhuatu clay is the main mineral for the preparation of red plastic mass from Built water purple pottery,its main chemical composition is w?SiO2?61.72%,w?Al2O3?20.6%,w?Fe2O3?6.93%,w?K2O?3.10%,w?H2O+?5.24%.Wuhuatu clay is mainly composed of Illite,Quartz and Hematite.White cl ay is the main mineral of white plastic mass made from Built water purple po ttery,the main chemical compositions are w?SiO2?69.00%,w?Al2O3?19.75%,w?F e2O3?1.20%,w?K2O?3.09%,w?H2O+?4.88%.White clay is mainly composed of Kaolinite,Illite and Quartz.The dehydroxylation temperature range of the Wuh uatu and white mud ores is around 490°C.?2?There are two kinds of raw clay mineral in Qinzhou Nixing pottery,Guangxi.The one of mineral Dongning average content of chemical compositio n in the ores is w?SiO2?63.26%,w?Al2O3?22.08%,w?Fe2O3?3.36%,w?K2O?2.78%,w?H2O+?5.83%,and the main mineral compositions are Quartz,Kaolinite,Ill ite and Hematite,The main dehydroxylation temperature of Dongni ore is 492°C.The main mineral components of Xining ore are quartz,illite,hematite,and calcite.The CaO content of Xining chemical composition is significantly high er than that of Dongning,which helps to reduce the firing temperature of the mud.?3?Rongchang pottery clay raw materials have two kinds of red clay and white clay,generally the two must be mixed with each other to meet the req uirements of pottery.The average chemical composition of red clay is w?SiO2?61.41%,w?Al2O3?21.64%,w?Fe2O3?5.27%,w?K2O?2.24%,w?H2O+?6.63%.The av erage chemical composition of white clay is w?SiO2?60.07%,w?Al2O3?25.2%,w?Fe2O3?1.20%,w?K2O?3.28%,w?H2O+?7.65%.Rongchang pottery red clay mi neral mainly composed of Quartz,Kaolinite,Illite,Hematite,etc.,white clay m ineral mainly composed of Quartz,Kaolinite,Illite,etc.The dehydroxylation te mperature range of red clay minerals and white clay minerals is 490°C to 530°C.
