Analysis On Straw Resource Utilization Behavior And Influencing Factors Of Grain Crops In Hubei Province Under The Situation Of Scale Operation

As a by-product of crop production,the local burning of crop straw will cause serious agricultural non-point source pollution,and the comprehensive utilization can become one of the important agricultural biomass energy sources.Therefore,straw,with its characteristics of "use is profit,abandon is waste",its resource utilization conforms to the meaning of agricultural green and low-carbon production,and is highly valued by the government.However,contrary to the "heat" of the government,due to the shortage of rural labor force,the weak environmental awareness of farmers and the lack of understanding of straw value,straw resource utilization presents the characteristics of "cold" at the level of farmers,and the phenomenon of random discarding and burning is repeatedly banned.At the same time,with the transfer of rural labor force and the acceleration of land transfer,agricultural production has developed the "land scale operation" and "service scale operation" situation on the basis of the original "small-scale farmer operation" situation.What is the behavior of straw resource utilization of farmers under the different scale management situation?Are the interests of farmers consistent?Is it the same way to promote its active participation in straw resource utilization?The interpretation of such problems can help to solve the current predicament of straw resource utilization.For that reason,This paper is based on circular economy theory,planned behavior theory and induced technology change theory,First,using the grass-valley ratio and the collectible coefficient,Calculate the theoretical straw resources and straw collectable resources of major crops in Hubei Province from 2004 to 2019 respectively;then,Using the field research data of 18 towns and townships in 2 cities and 4 districts of Hubei Province,Analyzing the current situation of sample farmers,And the cross-analysis of the relationship between the individual characteristics,family characteristics and personal cognition of the sample farmers and their straw resource utilization behavior,At the same time,further considering the characteristics of "land scale operation" and "service scale operation",By constructing the binary Logit model to analyze the farmer straw resource utilization behavior and its influencing factors under the service scale operation situation,And compare the similarities and differences with the land scale management of farmers' straw resource utilization behavior;last,According to the previous study findings,Corresponding suggestions are put forward.The main research work and conclusions are as follows:First,The theoretical resources of crop straw in Hubei Province from 2004 to 2019 showed the same trend of crop yield;Second,farmers have cognition of straw resource utilization but a single way of straw resource utilization;Third,the empirical results show that the individual characteristics,family characteristics and other factors significantly affect the behavior of straw resource utilization.The age of farmers,the proportion of agricultural income in the total income,the education level,the type of employment,whether to understand the relevant policies,the willingness to use straw resources,whether the straw resource utilization can increase production and other seven factors play a significant role;Forth,The current situation of straw burning by only individual farmers shows that the straw burning behavior of farmers tends to be random,Therefore,it is difficult or even impractical to completely eliminate the straw burning phenomenon in a large range;Fifth,Large-scale households are highly educated and younger than ordinary farmers;Sixth,Land scale management farmers' cognition of relevant policies of straw resource utilization and straw resource utilization willingness are higher than those of service scale management farmers;Seventh,Scale operation cannot induce farmers to produce straw other than returning to the field.According to the conclusion of this paper,the promotion of straw recycling policy in Hubei Province,from the following aspects: first,strengthen the food crop straw burning policy orientation;second,improve farmers' cultural level,training related straw treatment technology;third,increase technical research,observe the long-term impact of straw returning;fourth,target individual straw burning farmers,deep investigation,"household conditions";fifth,the land scale farmers and service scale farmers adopt different ways to encourage other straw recycling methods.
