Laodingshan National Forest Park is rich in animal and plant resources. It is a green barrier in Changzhi City,Shanxi Province. The superior geographical environment can be used for scientific research.Insects are the smallest and most numerous of organisms in the biosphere, with strong fecundity, rich groups and sensitive to habitat changes. They can also be used as indicate for biological monitoring environment.Lepidoptera,as an important part of the food chain,is closely related to the plant community and soil in its habitat, and plays an important role in the structure and function of the entire ecological system. In this paper, the taxonomy, fauna and diversity of moths in Laodingshan National Forest Park were studied. The results are as follows:1.According to actual specimens, the moths in Laodingshan National Forest Park were sorted and identified.A total of 5529 moth specimens,175 species, belonging to 143 genera(14 species were not identified). The specimen collection and distribution information of 161 species at home and abroad 24 adult color photographs and 34 characteristic photographs of genitalia were provided.2.Simpson index,Shannon index,Pielou evenness index and Margalef richness index were used to analyze the diversity of Lepidoptera moths in Laodingshan National Forest Park. The results showed that the species of Noctuidae and Geometroidea were rich, and the community structure was relatively stable. At the same time,it also showed that the diversity index of moth communities in various families was positively correlated with richness index and evenness index.Among the four habitats in Laodingshan National Forest Park, the largest number of moth species is miscellaneous wood forest, with 139 species, and the smallest is Shrubbery forest, with 87 species.Noctuidae,Pyralidae,Crambidae and Geometroidea are the dominant families. The diversity index, richness index and evenness index of moths in four habitats were analyzed. The results showed that the broad-leaved deciduous forest had the highest diversity index and evenness index, and the coniferous forest had the lowest diversity index and evenness index. The highest richness index was miscellaneous wood forest, and the lowest was Shrubbery forest.Overall, the diversity index of moths was positively correlated with evenness index and richness index.3.The Jaccard similarity coefficient and Euclidean distance clustering method were used to analyze the similarity and clustering of different habitats in this area. The results showed that the habitats of moths in coniferous forest,broad-leaved deciduous forest and miscellaneous wood forest were similar, and the habitats of moths in Shrubbery forest were different from the above three, which may be related to the Shrubbery forest being burned after the forest fire.It indicated that the species composition and community structure of Shrubbery vegetation in Laodingshan National Forest Park changed after the fire, resulting in the corresponding changes in the composition and diversity of moths.4.The fauna characteristics of moths in Laodingshan National Forest Park were analyzed. The results showed that there were six fauna types and five distribution types in the world. The number of moths distributed in the double-region type(only across the Palaearctic and Oriental regions)and the single-region type(only Palaearctic region)was the largest. The total number of moths distributed in the two types of fauna accounted for 93.78 % of all moths.Genre fauna type identical class. The geographical distribution of insects in China is complex, with 43 fauna types and7 distribution types, mainly in North China. There were 108 species of moths distributed above the three-region type, accounting for 67.08 % of the total species in the region, indicating that there were many species distributed across the three-region type. This shows that the moths in Laodingshan National Forest Park are mainly Palaearctic and Oriental species, followed by Palaearctic. It is widely distributed in China.
