China is a big agricultural country,and rural residential areas are the main places where villagers live.However,rural residential areas in China have the problem of extensive land use and scattered distribution.In-depth study on the distribution of rural residential land and construction of a scientific and reasonable suitability evaluation system can provide scientific basis for the rational distribution of rural residential land and promote the economical and intensive use of rural land.Zhidan County,located in the northwest of Yan 'an City,is in the hilly and gully region of the Loess Plateau.Due to the limitation of topographic factors,residential areas are scattered unreasonably in utilization.Besides,permanent basic farmland protection scope and ecological redline have been delineated under the current national land spatial planning.Therefore,it is particularly important to evaluate the suitability of rural residential land in limited space and put forward some reasonable suggestions for remediation and zoning.In this paper,Arcgis is used to analyze the current situation of rural residential land use in Zhidan County,based on the data results of the third survey in 2020,and the suitability evaluation system of rural residential land use in Zhidan County is established.Villages with similar suitability are classified into the same category,and then remediation zoning is carried out according to classification.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The analysis of the land use status in Zhidan County in 2020 shows that the per capita rural residential area in Zhidan County is 119.22m2/person,which is lower than the national standard,and the land use scale is generally reasonable.Spatially,rural residential land in Zhidan County presents a zonal distribution pattern with dense north and sparse south.(2)Starting from the influencing factors and limiting factors,12 indexes were selected to construct the suitability evaluation system.Finally,9 indexes of influencing factors and 3indexes of limiting factors were selected,and the final suitability zoning was obtained after superposition.The final division results are as follows.The area of height suitability is 38903.66 hectares,accounting for 10.25% of the whole county.The area of general suitability is 87739.59 hectares,23.13% of the whole county area.The area of critical suitability is 114366.45 hectares,30.14% of the whole county area.The unsuitable area is 90446.46 hectares,23.84% of the total area of the county.The area banned from establishment is 47947.98 hectares,12.64% of the whole county area.(3)Based on the results of suitability evaluation,the villages in Zhidan County were divided into five different types: urbanization area,high development area,internal transformation area,restricted development area and relocation area.The urbanization area includes three administrative villages and one community,33 administrative villages in high development area,40 administrative villages in internal transformation area,19 administrative villages in restricted development area and 13 relocation area.According to the different districts,the corresponding rectified suggestions are put forward for each district.
