This paper aims to study the relationship between Joseph Rouse's scientific view and Karl Marx's scientific view.Through the study of Rouse's works,it is easy to find that there are many similarities between Rouse's scientific view and Marx's scientific view.Studying their relationship not only promotes the comparative study of them, but also has an important significance for deepening our understanding of Rouse's scientific view. This paper focuses on the relationship between Rouse's scientific view and Marx's scientific view and is divided into five chapters to elaborate and analyze. The first chapter is introduction. This chapter describes the research background and significance, domestic and foreign research review, research ideas and methods, research difficulties and innovations. The second chapter expounds the historical background and the source of thought of Rouse's scientific view and Marx's scientific view. The third chapter makes a comparative analysis of the scientific view from the perspective of practice between them, and draws a conclusion that both of them insisted on understanding science from the perspective of practice. However, their understanding of practice is not exactly the same.Rouse discussed the concept of practice in the context of the production of scientific knowledge, and Marx discussed practice in a broader social and historical field. The fourth chapter makes a comparative analysis of Rouse's and Marx's views on scientific power: both agreed on the importance of power to scientific knowledge.Rouse expanded the understanding of power to the micro level, and Marx studied the relationship between science and power from the external power dimension. In the fifth chapter, based on Marx's philosophy, this paper evaluates Rouse's scientific view, and expounds the common significance of their scientific view, the innovation of Rouse's scientific view and the limitations of Rouse's scientific view.As one of the most representative figures in the contemporary philosophy of science,Rouse has attracted the attention of domestic and foreign scholars, and the relevant research literature emerges in endlessly. However, looking at the current situation of domestic and foreign research, there are still few comparative studies on Rouse's scientific view and Marx's scientific view.In view of this, the relationship between Rouse's scientific view and Marx's science view still needs further explorations.
