Research On Joseph Rouse’s Scientific Practice Hermeneutics

Since the middle of the 20th century,the philosophy of scientific practice has attracted more and more attention as a branch of the development of the philosophy of science.The development of scientific research has turned to the attention of practice.From a new perspective,science is viewed.Rouse regards science as a field of practice.Scientific practice is regarded as the essence of science.In the process of reconstructing science,it explains its theory of hermeneutics from the perspective of practical hermeneutics and explains the philosophical meaning of scientific practice.Scientists are participatory practitioners.Science is the form of practice in which we all participate.It shifts from representation to practice and opens up new trends in the development of scientific research.This article expounds Rouse’s thought of scientific practice interpretation,expounds the theoretical background,ideological source,basic views and comparison of the traditional scientific concept,and then commented on Rouse’s theory of scientific practice interpretation,and discusses the value of the times of Rouse’s thought theory.Rouse absorbed Heidegger’s practical hermeneutics,Kuhn’s paradigm theory and incommensurable perspectives,Foucault’s knowledge and power viewpoints,and constructed his own theoretical system in the two philosophical traditions of Anglo-American philosophy and European continental philosophy.Based on the understanding of science in practice,the main ideas include a new interpretation of practice and understanding of science as a practical activity.Scientific research takes place in the context of the practice of skills,procedures,and tools.Scientific knowledge is situated knowledge.The research approach examines scientific activities from the perspective of practice.Only the scientific practice in specific contexts,there is no independent knowledge or theoretical content,and calls for more attention to the skills and operational actions in science,and the analysis of laboratory research and power models.Combination is the central content of the study,but Rouse does not rule out scientific theories and believe that the scientific theory is also a practice.The construction of the theoretical model also belongs to the part of scientific practice.Rouse differs from the traditional viewpoint of separating theory from practice.What’s more,Rouse’s concept of practice is participatory and interpretive.Practice refers to the behavior of the scientific community in constructing scientific facts in a certain context,and can explain the behavior itself.Scientific theoretical research is also a special scientific practice activity.Depending on the practical background,the focus on scientific research activities will lead to a scientific image that is different from a systematic theoretical background.The purpose of this article is to examine Rouse’ thoughts of scientific practice interpretation,and to combine with the development of scientific philosophy,to make an evaluation of Rouse’s scientific practice interpretation thoughts.Rouse’s scientific practice explanation ideology achieves a certain degree of communication between scientism and humanism.The integration explored the new development path of philosophy of science and promoted the philosophy of the hermeneutics.
