With the demand for the establishment of a modern enterprise system,the requirements for the management and control of people,property and things have become more and more scientific and standardized.Among these elements,human resources are the most critical factor in enterprise development,and the performance appraisal system is an important part of performance management.The formulation of an effective assessment system can stimulate the endogenous motivation of employees,thereby promoting the realization of sustainable high-quality development of the enterprise.The performance appraisal of Jiangsu Geology and Mineral Design and Research Institute was specifically analyzed using the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,and the combination of theory and practice.Aiming at the construction of three teams of management,scientific research and production of Jiangsu Geology and Mineral Design and Research Institute,the performance appraisal system was analyzed and optimized,using key index method,comprehensive assessment method and etc,and a set of goal-oriented performance appraisal system was designed and implemented.Starting from the strategic goals of the enterprise,the basic concepts and methods of performance appraisal were summarized through the analysis of the research status of domestic and foreign performance appraisal issues.Through the investigation and analysis of the history,current situation and human resources of Jiangsu Geology and Mineral Design and Research Institute,the main problems of the performance appraisal system were analyzed.Based on this,the goals and principles of the performance appraisal system were designed,and the performance appraisal plan was designed for the employees of Jiangsu Geological and Mineral Design and Research Institute in three categories,and thus the appraisal subject,appraisal index,appraisal period were clarified.In addition,the application of evaluation results and feedback improvement process were designed,and the guarantee measures of the performance evaluation system were finally determined,which aims to promote the long-term development of the enterprise through the design,optimization and improvement of the performance evaluation system.
