The Study Of The Diversity Of Woody Plants In Yichang

Yichang is located in the transition zone from the second step to the third step in our country.Its unique geographical location and complex and diverse natural environment provide a unique production environment for the survival and reproduction of plants.Forest resources as a sustainable development strategic resources,the current situation of woody plant resources in Yichang is worth exploring.Based on field surveys,specimen search,and document collection,compile a list of woody plants in Yichang,and analyze plant species composition,flora composition,distribution pattern,plant resource types,and rare and endangered plants.The main findings are as follows:1.There are 106 families,377 genera and 1477 species of woody plants in Yichang(including sub-species grades,the same below),among which there are 93 cultivated species,belonging to 35 families and 56 genera;and 1384 wild species,belonging to 100 families and350 genera.Among them,there are 42 species of gymnosperms in 7 families and 24 genera,and 1435 species of angiosperms in 99 families and 353 genera.At the family level,the woody plants in Yichang are dominated by 37 families,including Rosaceae,Leguminosae,Rhamnaceae,Lauraceae,Vitisaceae,Eulanceolaceae,Rutaceae,Fagaceae,Berberaceae,Loniceraceae,etc.,totaling 1160 Species,accounting for 34.91% and 78.54% of the total number of families and species,respectively.At the genus level,the woody plants in Yichang are dominated by 101 genera,including Rubus,Viburnum,Acer,Clematis,Rosa,Ilex,Euonymus,Berberis,Lonicera,Spiraea,Rhamnus,Salix,Rhododendron,Cotoneaster,Smilax,Actinidia,Pittosporum,etc.,totaling 1039 species,accounting for 26.79% of the total number of genera and 70.35% of the total number of species.2.There are 1384 species of wild woody plants in Yichang,350 genera and 100 families.In terms of geographic flora,at the family level,the tropical component has a clear advantage,with a temperature-to-heat ratio of 0.88;at the genus level,the tropical composition decrease and the temperate composition rise,with a temperate-tropical ratio of1.43;at the species level,temperate components far exceed the tropical components,and is mainly temperate,with a temperate-tropical ratio of 4.70,and has a certain connection with tropical Asia and East Asia.There are 893 species endemic to China,190 species endemic to Central China,15 species endemic to Hubei,5 species endemic to Yichang,China endemic species account for 64.52% of the total species,and endemic species of Central China account for 13.73% of the total species.3.In terms of distribution pattern,in terms of horizontal distribution,a large number and concentrated distribution are in Xingshan County,Yichang City District and Wufeng County in the west,followed by Changyang County and Zigui County.This is closely connected with the topography of Yichang,and the west edge of Jianghan Plain in the east makes woody plants It is less distributed in the east;in terms of vertical distribution,the number of species in the range of 800-1200 m is the most abundant.4.In terms of plant resources,the number of medicinal plants is up to 741,followed by ornamental plants,wood plants,edible plants,oil plants,fiber plants,tanning plants and nectar plants,all of which are above 100.5.Among the woody plants distributed in Yichang,47 are endangered by the IUCN Red List,30 are included in the National Key Protected Wild Plant List,and 4 are very small population plants.
